I found my SO on the Internet.
Lucky, howed you do that?
For about a year, I was on a dating site and met and dated several women. They were all nice but nothing long-term. I finally found this one woman... we clicked on the first date and we've now been together for 7 years.
I can't even find one I'd want to ask out.
Many people have great success wth online dating. If you are having a problem, you can blame he internet if you want, but. . . how is it that so many other people have great success?
I don't really think you understood my question...
Dating sites are scams, I'm talking about how you can use a search engine to find anything, except people.
Dating sites aren't scams. Millions of people have met their long term partners on dating sites. That's not a scam.
The problem with googlng for a girlfriend is that the internet let's you find people by their name or location, but not by the search terms we would use when looking for a romantic partner, because most people are not listed online wth a personality and interest description.
Dating sites are scams, they hide matches in your area, show matches outside your country, send you fake likes, match you with locals who are the polar opposite of you, and nickle and dime you eternally.
And I know, but thats what would be good to have, not even dating sites let you search that way, but they should.
I don't know what sites you use, but I have used match, POF, zoosk, and bumble and had great results. I got engaged last week after two years of datng a lady I met on zoosk.
