Should I keep stop telling him when other people try to flirt with me?

We've been in a relationship for nearly half a year. A few days ago, someone tried to hit on me and I told them I've a boyfriend. I said that to him and showed him the texts they sent me and what I responded. He fought a lot after that and called me names. He completely distrusted me. Recently again something similar took place and I again told him about it. Now he's cold and distant.

I don't like hiding anything from him. If I don't tell him about these things, my conscience hurts me. So I tell him whenever someone flirts with me. I am making it clear, I've never done anything that would question his trust.

Should I stop that?

You were completely in the right. If he's angry that you are turning down other men, dump him. If my girl told me she rejected a man's advances I be like, "of course you did, who's better than I am?" And we'd be happy still, happier probably. So drop the boy, dump his immature insecure butt, and the next cooler guy that hits you up you can try out.

I feel uncomfortable if I don't tell him. I feel like I'm committing a crime. What if he finds out someday and thinks I'm hiding something? I don't do it to make him jealous at all.

Actually I don't have any friends other than him. At least not very close. I feel awkward at times handling everything and want to share with someone. Besides, I know him, if I don't tell something and he comes to know he'll fight and ask why I didn't say.

Nah, I don't press him much with everything. He doesn't have much friends either. In fact we were friends before the relationship. We promised to stay friends inside the relationship.
