My boyfriend and I got in a bad argument two days ago. He said a lot of hurtful things. I question if he meant most of what he said or if he said them out of anger. He wants to work on things and is trying to make it up to me but if I'm honest I still feel hurt by his words and actions. I appreciate him trying to work on things and make it better but I can not stitch off my emotions and act like everything is ok. I don't want to keep bringing up the past and talking about the argument. I still replay the words he said to me in my head. Do you have any tips that will help me get through the emotion of hurt that I feel?

Depends what the arguments was about. Can that be compromised in the future so it doesn’t happen again?
expakin to him…you need 5 days (or whatever days u need)…and you want to clear your head alone…or tell him what you need him to do to help move forward … hugs…or holding you … or go for a walk… keep the conversation light…talk about fun, light hearted topics…

Some fights are not worthy the hurt feelings if you two are both trying to make things work.
