Guys why would you post your new girlfriend in your exes face if you ended on good terms & said you’ll always care for them?

Put yourself in a blokes shoes and give me what you think may be his perspective. Why not just hide your ex from seeing any of your stories if you care about their feelings? Do you need to try and get a reaction to prove she still cares? Or are you trying to push her away?

Is he really posting it to make her upset, or is he just posting to post about his girl like many couples do, and the ex doesn't like seeing him happy with someone else?

It could be that, I don’t know for sure, but I know that I don’t want him to be unhappy. But for someone to want to post their partner, you can still do that and be respectful by not sharing it with them (eg. Set story settings so ex can’t see but everyone else can)

Why should someone do that? I wouldn't hide my partner from anyone. Real friends want to see you happy and things going your way. This ex isn't capable of being a friend to him. If she still has feelings for him, it's her own fault for sticking around. She's just torturing herself, while he's just doing normal things people do in relationships.

That’s not a true reflection of our situation. How many serious relationships have you had? You don’t seem to really grasp it.

I've been in 3 serious relationship. They were serious enough that I wouldn't hide them from any friends, family, or exes. That just seems disrespectutul to my new relationship. It isn't my problem if my ex isn't ok with it.

When couples pics are all someone posts, there’s something amiss there. I was with someone who did this and I was also smart enough to realise that it was more for show from his point of view, hence why I refused to take pics in the end to serve a purpose other than something that was about us.
