Will she actually respect your boundaries, or will she just pretend to agree and go do it anyway behind your back?
(I'm taking about the type of girl who would think that's ok to begin with. I know all women aren't the same)
actually yes, most women do.
asking her to never interact with her ex even when it's unavoidable is wrong, but if you're just asking them not to be friends that's normal. she should respect that and hear you out if you're being reasonable.
I'm glad a woman answered this, thank you.
He's out of her life, but apparently he keeps asking her to be friends and she said maybe.
Considering the way he treated her and the fact that I know he's just trying to get back with her, I'm not comfortable with them talking at all. I see no reason why she wouldn't put his abusive lazy ass in the rearview mirror
It feels like a slap in the face for her to even think about being friends with him
oh yea I totally understand. my ex would talk to his exes all the time, even when he told me how terrible they treated him.
For real, you get it. I guess that's part of why he's your ex now lol
oh yeah, turns out that was just a warning sign. if it seems like your partner has something to hide or keeps showing more red flags, might be best to move on
Sounds good. Thanks for the heads up 👍
of course!!
haha like the update, definitely a good way to go about it
😂👍 Thanks!
Boundaries should be respected for sure. And why befriend your ex? There's no reason for it. They are an ex for a reason. I would find that behaviour very suspicious if I were you.

If she doesn't respect your boundaries, you respect them by leaving her ass.
Boundaries yes.
I'll tell you though, the thing with her ex sounds way more like controlling than boundaries.
Ok cuck
Lol.
it's essential and the #1 reason relationships fail. No healthy boundaries
Yes boundaries should be respected
Threats turn her on? Yikes
Nah man. Threats toward her abusive ex to lay off my girl turns her on
