There's no way to I can ask this without making it awkward, so here it is:

I am a feminist, I am independent and never take orders from anyone. BUT, I weirdly enjoy getting bossed around by my boyfriend in bedroom. I feel very weird about it, I never even shared it with my bestie of 6 years. I just don't feel comfortable telling this to anyone.

Even to my boyfriend, I pretend that I only do it because he likes it but in reality I like getting bossed around way more than he likes to boss me around. Only sexually though, I hate it when he tries to order me around outside bedroom.

Is it normal? Or am I the weird one?

It's normal. A lot of people are naturally assertive and confident in public (or feel pressure to do so). The "bedroom" is someplace you feel safe, with your boyfriend who you trust, and so you are enjoying releasing that "takes-no-shit" version of yourself and letting him be the boss.

In short, if you're enjoying it sexually, let it continue. And probably you pretending that you only do it because he likes it helps keep the power dynamic in a way that you still feel in control.

(not saying this applies to you, but look at all the stories in popular culture, various business leaders, politicians etc enjoying being dominated - they don't need to be their tough selves in that situation)
