My friend is really upset and annoyed at me because I said her boyfriend isn't my personal type. Me and my friend have completely different types in men so it's no surprise I'm not attracted to him. I'm also just in general not into my friend's boyfriends or exes.
She asked me if I think her new boyfriend is attractive and I said "I can see why you like him, he's objectively hot but I'm not attracted to him. I have a different type than you." And now she's annoyed at me and is being icy. She told me to "fuck off" because he's not my type, which was the truth. Have I done something wrong? Why is she so annoyed just because I don't personally fancy her boyfriend? It's HER boyfriend, not mine, after all.

Because what u said is the same way people describe someone they don't think is attractive so that's what she heard
But why would it matter what I thought though? Attraction is subjective. I wouldn't care if she didn't fancy my boyfriend.
Because how she interpreted it by the sounds of it is you say no to is he attractive people ask loaded questions all the time lol its nothing new
You gave your honest opinion on a way that doesn't seem unkind. She sounds rather insecure and needing validation.
Most women don't find most men attractive, unfortunately.
