I've Pretty much never really believed in love, as I've seen relationships fail around me my entire life and even the ones that looked very strong always came to an end. I'd very much like to believe in love, but I've never been inlove myself and haven't found a woman I want to be with on an emotional level.
I can however think of three exceptions. When I was 14 two of my very close friends grew into a couple and split after one year, but kept taking and got back together within a month. Apparently they both missed eachother and seriously couldn't bare loseing their relationship. My friends have been together for 12 years and still act like inlove teenagers. Another couple from my class of that year are now married and inseparable.
I did recently meet a 92 year old woman that said if she could go back in time, she'd force the man she loved to quit smoking, as he died at 70 and she considered him the love of her life. She never remarried and had tears in her eyes.
Looking into my family history is very dark and not one has ever lasted. I have one friend that went crazy from his last relationship and always warns of marriage and says, no relationship ever really last, it's just an idea that we tell ourselves.
I'm curious to know your opinions on love.
