I never waited around for a dream partner. My dreams were never that specific.
I wanted a pretty girlfriend. Their looks had to meet my preferences and we had to get along well.
I was happy to fall into mutual infatuation with someone who was really nice and who loved sex. Form there, I would see how things progressed.

I finally met the woman I thought I could spend the rest of my life with. We've been happily married now for almost 26 years. We've had a LOT of fun and built a wonderful lift together. She's an excellent partner and we love each other.
Is she perfect? No. But then again, neither am I.

"I never waited around for a dream partner." haha good on you. waiting around doesn't always lead you anyone so its good to go out and look.
"My dreams were never that specific." thats also a good thing "means you more options" but having a dream type can a be good thing too "to know where your standreds are and its good to pinpoint what you want/need in your partner, ofc doesn't mean you should not be with people just because they don't check off anything on your dream list"
