I had a heart to heart with my friend recently and he made it quite obvious that he was sorry for hurting me (due to many reasons) and that he couldn’t give me what I wanted.. (I told him that I wanted a relationship) My question is why did it take so long for him to admit what he did to me? He won’t be accountable for what he did to deceive me, he only apologized for hurting me. The wound is much deeper than this. I know he doesn’t owe me anything, but why do guys do this? When I first met him, I told him that if he didn’t know what he wanted or he just wanted to play games to leave me alone. Fast forward years later, I’ve fallen for him. Please don’t say hurtful things, I already feel bad enough.
I had the same experience. Well, It’s true that women are emotional and they express it well. Don’t hide it. Men aren’t emotional at all or seem to be least emotional. When they see our emotional side going more serious as we are falling in love with then, they can’t take it and decide to take a step back saying they aren’t ready for a relationship or they can’t give what we want. To win them, the only way is not to get emotional but then it’s not love (in my opinion).
