I hate phone calls.. And I'm horrible with small talk. When I text, it gives me time to think of a reply. I sometimes don't answer the phone for people I know. I'll text them back, say I'm busy, just so I don't have to talk on the phone. But if we were face to face, I would talk even with a Shakespearean tone..

Their need to constantly gossip is part of it. Their obsession with it is comical.
Sadly it's something that should stop at least while driving. The vast majority of the car wrecks that happen that involve smart phones are women.. It's been made illegal here without a hands free kit. I think it should be illegal everywhere.

Women are more geared towards verbal communication compared to men.
I guess this might be true, but it isn't something I notice.
Men does the same thing, except for texting while driving. Well that my view, sorry girls.
I rarely talk on the phone and I have messaging disabled.
just an observation of replies. its amazing how many took "why do..." to mean "which one fo you do?"
