If you don’t want to watch the entire video through essentially she’s saying that everyone’s capable of cheating so it’s important that you never ever put yourself remotely in a position where you could potentially cheat.
I agree with her somewhat in terms of the whole you should set boundaries with others when you’re in a relationship in order to respect your partner but I feel like at the end of the day cheatings a choice that you have to actively make because in my opinion at least when you go and cheat on your partner you just don’t care about them enough to care about how they’d be hurt by your actions but that’s just my two cents I’m interested in other peoples opinions on this take?

Someone who would rather kill themselves than cheat on their significant other would likely never commit infidelity — the kind of resolve that it takes to be martyred for what one believes in — to rather die than betray their cause.
I believe that kind of loyalty exists.
But, I would consider that the exception to the rule.
Most people do not have an indomitable will.
Most people are susceptible to temptation.
Most people, in the perfect storm, are probably capable of cheating.
Whether or not they do it, will depend on the strength of their character and how strong their loyalty is to their significant other.
But, even if their character and their loyalty is strong, it’s better to stay away from the edge rather than dance around too closely to the edge.
Plus, not going anywhere near cheating can be a powerful expression of loyalty and will help give your significant other peace of mind.
Because even if you know in your bones, you would never cheat — they don’t know you like you know you — and irrational fears and worries are something we are all familiar with.
So the kind thing to do is to put your significant other at ease, by not playing with fire — even if your capable of not burning yourself.
Though, many people are not capable of resisting temptation and put themselves in high-risk situations because they underestimate the risk and overestimate their own ability to remain strong in the face of temptation.

I don't speak for anyone else, but I would never do that myself. But let's face it, lots of people you think would never do this kind of thing do in weak moments. Satan likes to dangle delectable carrots in front of you and he knows just the right person and the right circumstances to use to get you to fold. Many bite, even some pastors. My cousin was married to a church pastor. But while she was home taking care of the kids, he was fooling around with the church secretary. It ended in divorce and then he married the secretary. He of course lost his pastorship. So, it happens.

It really just boils down to the person and how much they love their partner.. some people would never cheat because of their love but others it don't take much to cheat because they don't actually love anyone besides themselves..
What she's saying is absolutely true. And it's not just about cheating. There's all kinds of foul shit that all people are capable of; stuff that's a lot worse than cheating.
As a general rule; assume that your special person is absolutely the kind of person who "would ever do that." Because they absolutely are. Is there a situation where your fiercely loyal partner would cheat on you? Yes. Is there a situation where your husband would be the kind of person to steal your money and kids while you're away at work? You betcha.
That's why communication is insanely important, and it always blows my mind how bad so many people are at it.
I would say yes 100% and I kind of see it encouraged in modern society when people are encouraged to put personal pleasure and personal success over relationships. I would say loyalty/staying for faithful life to a person is way harder than having an open sex life.
Modern society is built on individual pleasure. Terms "settling for a person" is kind of talking down the idea of looking for a longterm partner since all the people that stayed for life settled at some point since they stayed when it got harder. They weren´t just around when it was easy.

I definitely agree with what she is saying in general terms.. In the right situations we never know what we are capable of.. We would all like to think ourselves kinda righteous and stern in our beliefs and actions, but you never know. I do think she went a bit overboard with it, but I agree with the overall message.
