We made a really big mistake. I had a girl-best friend and last night she came over and we ended up having sex, even though she had a boyfriend.
Today she told me it's best if we don't meet again. I respect it. Do you guys think there is a chance that in the future we will have this friendship again?
If she doesn't I'll reach out to her in a few months.

eh don’t be too hard on yourself it takes two to tango. no one knows the future. you may have done wrong by her boyfriend but you didn’t exactly do wrong by her. i think it’s better to let go of that hope, but not close your heart. if she’s young like you, and if she cheated, the relationship probably won’t last

It sucks. We hjave so few real friends in this life and maybe you just lost one. Give her some time to cool down and maybe reach out to her. You might have to grovel a little but say that it will never happen again.
Anything is possible, but leave things as they are for now.
These things happen. But I would look elsewhere
