My guy friend is someone who i seem to cannot live without. I gravitate towards him and he to me. Whenever i think of him, im happy. We just reconnected last year but i noticed that our bond is the strongest. He seems to really love me but i can't help but notice that the bond can even surpass romantic partners. We bonded because of trauma as we lost our loved ones in sudden griefs. Whenever we are about to part, he tells me he is lonely. And he keeps telling me he loves me when we see each other. He once told me he can't help but care for me and that i mean much to him. We keep on laughing when together.
Sometimes i wonder about our bond. It's as if i'd rather be with him than be alone and im an independent person. I rely on him when i have anxiety. When i feel fear, i call out to him. It's a weird feeling actually like he's my safe space.
We both feel weird about our connection because it seems very special. I notice I am of a positive influence to him. Before, he used to not post his face on instagram just sceneries, but now he's more open to it. Before, he seldom travels to my city but lately he keeps traveling to my city and i often travel to his as well ( we are separated by a 1 hr flight) He even asked me where would i really stay because he is open to relocating to my city.
Lately as well i feel like something is missing whenever i think of him not being in my city and even when im with my friends. I really miss him greatly even if we just parted and i get bored when im with other people or other friends. I'm not sure but i do love him but not sure if it's romantic. What do you think?
