thank you all for your responses. in summary, physical touch takes the cake for guys. for girls, it’s a tie between quality time and physical touch. no one cares about receiving gifts. compliments don’t hurt, but they’re not everything :) good luck with your relationships, all!

I would like to receive quality time, words of affirmation and physical touch from my partner. Acts of service are nice, but not absolutely needed. And gifts I don't really care for at all.

As for what I'd hope she likes... it would be the same thing as me. We're all into people that are similar to ourselves
