Why would anyone accept mistreatment from a boyfriend/girlfriend they don't even have kids with?

It's just someone you're dating, nothing else. I don't even accept it from my own family and wouldn't from a husband either but tolerating crap from just a boyfriend or girlfriend? LOL

Too many post on forums about their issues they're having with their boyfriend/girlfriend. Why do some people keep up with too much BS with someone they're only dating and don't even have kids nor share assets with?

You're just dating them and they can dumped at any moment. They aren't even your family.

Some people don't even tolerate things from people they have kids with lol. Maybe I can attribute some of that to low self-esteem/low-self-worth (like that's all they think they deserve or they don't want to start over) something like that. It could also be that they ARE pregnant and scared to leave the relationship. Some people get "trauma bonded" whatever that means. But yeah I think it's mostly also because they 1. Either love the person more than the other person likes them and they are hoping that things will get better. 2. Got low - self-esteem/ self-worth 3. They don't want to start over again from scratch because they are too old, too invested, value the guy more than themselves, etc.

Because sometimes I just need a good, hard bare bottom thrashing, and if I go without receiving regular maintenance beatings for a long period of time, I experience emotional problems and depression, anxiety, etc.
