What is an example of something you have done recently to make life easier for your partner?

My fiancee must be at work early in the morning, usually at 7 am but sometimes at 6 am. I wake up with her so that we can have breakfast together before she leaves. I cook breakfast and make coffee while she is getting dressed.

No, this isn't me!

I am quite aware that some of the macho boys will say that a guy shouldn't do such things, but I doubt that any of them have a relationship as satisfying as my relationship with Miss Helen. So, I do things for her as I am able, and as she has a need, and she does things for me.

I also cook all the time for my wife. I never understood the stereotype that a guy cooking or cleaning is less macho, since a guy who can do that and contribute his share is one who can take care of himself without relying on a woman to do it all for him.

That should be more macho, not less, and it's in part due to my stubborn independence to never grow too dependent on a woman to take care of me that I contribute my share of cooking and cleaning. It means I won't be helpless like a little boy without his mother if my wife gets sick, for example.

Also massages. My wife really loves massages (shoulders, back, feet). So I give her massages all the time.

Might not seem much, but one little thing I do for my wife is putting her shoes next to the door.

Why? Because she has this habit of kicking them out as soon as she arrives home, and they always end up in different places. So the day after she's scrambling around looking for them.

I collect them and fix them up near the door, so she always find them there.

Not recently but I've been doing this for a while. My husband wakes early to go to work every day. I on the other hand have lots of free time as my job doesn't require me to go to work every day. Whenever I'm home I make sure he has a home cooked meal when he comes back from work and always pack some food for him to take with him the next day to work. I do the laundry and the cleaning in the house so he can chill during the weekend.

His student visa was up and He was planning to move back to England so i moved with Him rather than make Him change His plans We got married a month after We moved at a Register Office which I call a court because I am American and it's just easier.

Ensure my wife doesn't have to work did that quite some time ago though. Expanding our house with an addition and a second floor so we have more space. Built her an art studio overlooking the valley so she can paint. Give her a massage every evening once we put the kids to bed. Etc

each week he has a special routine to do before going to synagogue so I help with it from getting his clothes ready to packing some of stuff he will use before he goes to it

He’s currently not working os he can focus on school while I do the expenses part. Makes better and more financial sense considering he did the same for me when we first started dating.
