So, my ex broke up with me on Friday, telling me that he wants to find a partner that "is a programmer and that he can build a business with."

Our mutual friend confirmed this with me as she talked to him also about it (everyone we know thinks that he is an idiot) and had asked him if that was his only reason, which he basically said yes and he wouldn't have broken up with me if I had the same career path as him (I'm a digital creator and funny enough, but I do some programming in my work).
