Can love be born out of an agreement, a bargain?

Anonymous

Well we do like each other but we've agreed to participate in this agreement. It's more like a bargain where I'm paying him (my parents are going to help out with money too) to do me a huge favor. In return, my gratitude would be staying as his reliable friend, be his support. We're not boyfriend and girlfriend (well we haven't call each other those names nor had sex either) but the communication and actions alone indicate it's going somewhere. I guess I'll call it a situationship, companions with love interest type of relationship.

Suddenly I'm starting to think of him and now it's a bit more than just liking him. Originally my plan was staying by his side out of principles because I can't disappoint/fail the person that's going to help me in something very important. Now it changes to actually feeling for him too.

Out of so many love stories I've heard can it be born out of a bargain too?
