Yes. It’s a big part of the reason i don’t date anymore. I have a well above average mastery of my language. I generally choose my words very well and deliberately. I usually say exactly what i mean. Yet every woman i’ve ever dated would misinterpret my words egregiously, then twist them to use them against me. Women are masterful gaslighters in that way. There’s nothing more deceitful than trying to convince someone that their own words don’t actually mean what they literally said. And i despise liars.

I don't care much about how others ''interpret'' my communication.

I often notice that they may not fully grasp what I intended to say.

So I will re-phrase on a lower language level :D

Instead of getting angry, I will just walk off instead of wasting time if they still don't get it after an appropriate number of attempts from my side.

I can't even remember when I got ''angry'' last time

What has happened to me in the past is the person I am talking to is hard of hearing and thinks you said something totally different than what you actually said. That caused a lot of arguments that would never happen if only they wore a hearing aid.

Depends.

If they genuinely misunderstood and once corrected they are willing to forget with they thought, we can move on no problem. I tend to automatically approach a statement I think to be confusing in a couple ways during a discussion in an effort to be clear. It's not always concise but hopefully it is clear.

If they are the type of person that no matter what you say, they are going to hear what they wanted to hear, then base the conversation on what they thought you said, without taking into consideration your efforts to try to correct what they think you said then, yes, I will get frustrated and walk away. I lived with a woman who did that for 20+ years. Now, that we are no longer married it's funny that I seem to not have the issue of being misunderstood.

Yeah, sometimes. Depending on the subject. Really political things because  EVERYTHING  from the left is shear evil. also being called a  RACIST  HITS ME AS A COPOUT ASSAULT. Used when they lose the argument.
