How about input from someone his age! Sure the age gap is big but isn't age a state of mind? For all the male kiddos bashing this... just how many would refuse a date with lets say Elizabeth Hurley or Pam Anderson there in their 40's now and no male on this site would refuse a date with them. Hiding the relationship implicates your doing something wrong and if you can't justify why your together to your friends or his friends then that is where there is a problem. Also he is your boss, and that's never any good.
I'm 43 and I have been out with a girl who was 19 and to be honest there wasn't a lot we had in common, I also went out and briefly dated a girl who was 24 and we hit it off beautifully, she was very mature for her age and quite frankly enjoyed someone who didn't drink beer out of a funnel till they passed out! She move for a job though.
Don't be afraid to go for it if you like him, but refuse to be his little secret. If you two are compatible then prove it to all your friends! If he wants to hide it then drop him fast, he is just using you to boost his ego.

Generally, the rule of thumb is 1st and foremost is it legal? (I.e no underage thing like that). Then, I've heard half your age +7 is the lowest you can go, so for you it would 19/2 = 9.5+7 = 16. But I don't know about the age gap on the other end. Maybe twice your age minus 7? 19 x 2 = 38 - 7 = 31.
But if you have to hide it, its probably not cool anyway.

i would feel like a freaking pedofile! YOU should feel like the victim of a pedofile! How can you hook up with a guy old enough to be your dad? isn't it gross?
Please Break it off with this guy. Not only do relationships usually not work in a working environment, but the age gap is huge. I guarantee right now his mind is "OMG OMG I'm doing a 19yr old, we men want to keep up with the new age as loong as we can, and if he can get his hands on something like you... That may mean "Work bonuses" but have some self respect ... I'd Hide it
that's bad news... don't s*it where you eat... Workplace romance is just askin for it... nothing good usually comes from it
He is using you for sex plain and simple. If that's ok with you, then have fun. I bet it was his "idea" that you guys should keep it quiet right?
