Why is she so into my relationship status?

it's this one female friend I have we talked and laughed for an hour and a half. we was talking about some of everything. so she went to asking me do I have a gf(she asks every 3 or 4 weeks.) she asked me why and I told her. the last time she asked was week before valentine's. I asked her ws she single she said yea was like I thought you had a boyfriend she said they broke up week before Christmas. now out of no where she goes to saying what he bought her for Valentine's day and Christmas. she told me on Valentine's day she was upset because this was her first time being single on v-day. out of the blue she goes talking about her boyfriend then she asks me do I have a girlfriend and why not. she seemed so into my relationship status. when I talk to another female or about another female she seems jealous and she changes the subject or get in our convo saying she don't want to talk to you leave her alone. today she went to messing with her hair saying she need her hair done and she asked me how it looked(it didn't look bad to me) then she went on by saying how her body looks to me.(she has a banging body) ...my thing is if you have a boyfriend why would you care what I think?...MY OTHER QUESTIONS ARE WHY SHE SO INTO MY RELATIONSHIP STATUS SHE ASKS EVERY 3 OR 4 WEEKS AND WHY DO SHE SEEM TO GET JEALOUS WHEN I TALK TO OR ABOUT OTHER FEMALES?

i think her and her boyfriend are done but she still kinda has feelings for him but she also likes you or else she wouldn't really give a crap what you think about her. those were all super obvious hints tht she wanted you to ask her out and by talking about the gifts she was probably trying to make you jealous and hoped you would try to outdo the other guy. girls are weird. our thoughts are complicated but in the end they all have an obvious meaning :)

yea she wasn't making me jealous though like she would say things like why isn't my boyfriend answering the phone when I called him. I'll say something like maybe he's busy or she would say why my boyfriend not calling me and I would say you should call hm if you care but she would change the subject. she would bring him up and then change the subject. she always ask me to stay and talk to her for hours.(she is a co worker we got hired together) she always trying to show off her body to me

that's super hard! even when I'm dating a guy I don't tell him I like him! hahaha ask her out. what can go wrong? she shuts you down. whatever you'll get over it. but if she's says yet it could end up being wonderful. and if you never do it yoiu'll definitely regret it. you only live once man so go for it

yea your right one problem she still lives with her mother while me and my brother are roommates in an apartment in the suburbs she still lives at home with her mom and her mom is very strict(so she says) but her mom was nice to me. I didn't know who she was but she came to me and introduced herself. whiched suprised me. but yea your right

true true lol but I have her thinking about it though. I learn how to use words with 2 meanings one freaky one normal and she jumps to the freaky one all the time so I act like I wasn't talking about it that way. but yea we aren't having sex. oh and she also keep asking me do I have a car and a cell phone I have both of those. I don't know why she keeps asking.

nooo it's a way of her trying to get you to ask her for hers. if she gets yours she'll probbly never text you because girls don't like to make the first move. at work be like, "hey what's you number in case I need my shift covered sometime"

oh we get hired together but we work in 2 different departments. she want me to be in her department all the time and if she don't see me but she sees me before she goes home, she makes it a priority to say bye/good night and do you work tomorrow? how I would ask her for her number now?
