Guys does the jealousy game work with you?

I know its childish and normally I wouldn't pull it out, but my friend and I have been playing games with each other for about two years now. I'm ready to be done with it or at least gauge his interest a little better. I can sense some but it's never enough to actually get together and its always short lived. I think it would be good for us to get together but I think our long standing friendship might be scaring him off just a little so I think I need to shake it up. So tell me does it work or blow up in the girls face?

Well I suppose since the overwhelming suggestion seems to be blowing up in my face I will just see how it plays out especially since I don't want to ask in case I am misreading the signals.

Wow. You're pathetic haha. Actually, he is pathetic also! Games for two years?!?!? Just go up and ask him how he feels. Don't do this bullsh*t game stuff. Just go up and talk to him. I don't know your situation that well, but games will never get you a relationship. If a girl did that to me and it was obvious she was playing a game, I'd move on from her faster than she could introduce me to her friend. Just because you're a girl doesn't mean you can't make a move on him. The best long term relationships form with a good friendship first so you will be golden if you just go ask him. Hmm well about two years ago we started hanging out a lot. I think things changed on his birthday two years ago. He sent me a text at like 11pm asking me if I wanted to party with him after the family thing was over. It was nothing big just me and him some booze and movies. Then talking more than normal for a while. That happens about every six months where he just gets chatty for a few weeks. Then about six months ago he talked to me for like three hours on the phone. May have been exchanged;). Chatty for a while. Then a few weeks ago after not hanging for ever we are chillin and he wouldn't let me leave his house every time I tried until he finally made his move and we ended up hooking up. Chatty for the next few weeks and now nothing. So its either now or never for me.

I'm a virgin by choice right now. So whoever I lose it to will be someone I really care for and when I do lose it, I will be sure to keep going out with her and talking to her a lot(well, within reason haha). Point is, if someone has sex with you AND they have feelings for you, after a few weeks you wouldn't be wondering if they like you or not.

Yeah see but that's where it gets complicated because he is a dad who has his kid 90% of the time and he even took a vow of celibacy over her well until me a year and a half later. He hasn't dated anybody in over two years since he and the mom broke up and I think he thinks its for the good of his kid. Plus we ususally hang out just us and on the rare occasion that another person is there he won't leave until after they do no matter what.

Don't make excuses for him haha. If a guy really cares for you and has sex with you, there would be no way that he wouldn't make some more effort to talk to you afterward. Make sense? You care for him and are worrying about what to do about him... what is he doing? He knows he is the guy and should make the move, but he hasn't...why not? I doubt it's because he is shy because shy people don't not let you leave and then have sex.

All I know is that I just started dating this girl a couple weeks ago. On our first date she ended up giving me a bj and she slept over. I thought I had a lot of feelings for her at the time but we went out again and she didn't seem like someone I could love. Now I won't have sex with her. Then there's this new girl that is the most amazing girl I've ever dated. If me and her have sex in the future, she would know for sure that I want a relationship with her. Because he and I actually know everybody that we get with I mean we have beeen friends like 12 years and until things changed like two years ago we knew all about the persons relationships and all he did was complain about how it sucks not getting any for those close to two years

Plus part of the reason I started looking at him differently was when he found out his then girlfriend was preggo he changed into this completely different person overnight. He became responsible and got a steady job, stopped partying (except for the occasional drink when he doesn't have the kid) and became a standup guy. It can but it is really dangerous, because it makes make men jealous, but you never know how they are going to respond to that, it really depends on the person, personality and stuff that they have gone through. I will be really careful about it and if you are going to make somebody jealous be really subtle because it may back fire at you.

I am telling you this, because this girl tried to make me jealous, which it did worked, but I got so mad at her, that I stopped talking to her and I changed completely from friendly and nice, to cold and mean.

Oh it would be very subtle for sure as I said not something I really wanna do but its the only trick I have left at this point. And its not like we won't stay freinds its just getting old that about every six months he heats things up then when I get into it he cools em down.

Well I'm a girl but I had a guy pull the same game with me for nearly two years. But anyone who toys with your emotions is emotionally immature for a relationship anyway so you probably really don't want them anyway. With my guy friend after a while I just got fed up and walked away. And I've felt liberated ever since. But at least its lesson learned.
