This may be long so please bear with me :) I'm in a long distance relationship, I have been for the past 14 months. The problem is my girlfriend - the last few days she has been really off and angry at me, ignores me a lot, even said she doesn't love me :/ I text her, not constantly, asking what's wrong, she will reply sometimes but mostly she doesn't... I ask her if we can talk, I just get a maybe... Its as though she has lost all interest :( She has a bad past - her brother and grandad died, her parents broke up and she had a really close relationship with her dad, when she lived with him and her step mum, she didn't get on with her step mum, who at one point accused her of selling herself for sex... She used to self harm too :/ So yeah, she's had a very bad childhood :( We had a bad patch before, but we got through it, she broke down and cried, she said sorry, and told me I was what she needed :) She used to tell me she loved me, that I was amazing and perfect and made her happy (so cheesy I know :P) I feel far from that now... Her other grandad has been ill, and I know she does worry about him... This last weekend she was out with friends, a lot of friends, one of her ex's was around but it seemed all good... Sunday she seemed a bit grumpy, a bit off then she started an argument... On Monday I found out that she'd been told her grandad was terminally ill :( But she has still stayed the same! I give her space, I text her, nothing works... Yet I know she is fine with her friends, we both use whatsapp so that says when she is online, when she could talk, but she doesn't, or text me... I see her online, posting pictures, talking to people as though everything is fine (i'm not stalking her by the way, it just shows up in my feed ;p) yet with me she is completely the opposite :/ I feel as though if she wanted to break up she would have, but why put me through this, I wonder if its so I break up with her so she doesn't feel bad ;( If I leave her alone I fear I will lose her, I'm just confused and don't know what to do right now, it seems everything I say or do will be wrong and just make her worse :( but I don't want this to continue, to go through it all again :/ Perspective from a female would be big help, thanks :)

This is my first ever proper relationship, and the first time I've asked a question on this, could someone give me some advice to go on, a girls would be particularly helpful. :)
