I met this guy in my martial art class. In the beginning he flirted and came up to me whenever we saw each other. I won't go into the details, but to summarize he was very attentive to me. We never did anything, and through a favor, which he volunteered, I received his phone number.
After the favor, he said anytime I needed anything to call him up. I said ok. That was the last time I saw him, and the few times when I called him after that he told me he was busy with school and/or finals, which did not make me question it because I am in school and was going through the same thing. Important note, All this occurred around the Nov-Christmas season when he started to seriously flirt with me. We had class with each other since Aug. Well, he stopped coming to class this semester, and we had not spoken to each other in over a month, after the Christmas break.
Late Jan I decided to call him to see how he was. We talked for an hour, before he hung up he said anytime I wanted to call, to call. I said ok. Well, the first week in Feb I decided to call him again, and this time we talked for two hours. Before we hung up he asked that we talk more frequently. I said ok, also during the conversation he said we should get together soon. I asked him if he wanted to go the movies that following weekend. He said ok, how about Sunday. We made no definitive plans, and I did not hear from him again. Sat night I called and left a voicemail asking him if we were still going to the movies, and if not, just call to let me know. He never called.
The last time we had spoken he said we would go around 1, well, 1 came and went and he was a no show. At 2:30 I called him, he picked up and hung up the phone. I thought he had phone problems because in the past if that happen he would immediately call right back. He didn't, when I called back his voicemail came on immediately. At 7 I called but from my other phone, he picked up and if was a very awkward 2 min conversation. He made no mention of the date and neither did I. He asked if he could call me back later, and I said ok. He never did.
Ok, in the past when I called he would pick up. When I texted he would respond. We flirted, and our conversations were wonderful. What happened? And should I just move on from here?
