My Ex GF has unblocked me on Facebook. Why?

Broke up in November due to distance and a few other things and tried to be friends. I changed my mind a few times but the last time i tried to speak to her she made it clear she wanted nothing to do with me (this was in January). I asked her to block me on Facebook and deleted her email and number. There was no way for me to contact her.

Fast forward to a few days ago and i seen her comment on a mutual friends photo. I had seen this photo before and couldn't see the comment because of being blocked.

Just thinking of reasons why? I asked her to block me to stop me messaging her. Not that I'm going to but does this mean she could want me to message her?

After a breakup, where the dust has settled, she may simply be curious how you are doing. But she won't have the gall to contact you. She may also not want you to contact her either.

It's just a silent "background stalking", and she may be doing it for quite some time in the future. Like years from now, she might still occasionally search your name.

I wouldn't read into it too much. My ex unblocked me too after she moved to another country. It's been 5 years and neither of us have emailed each other, even though we are both visible to each other.

If you want to be mysterious, you have the opportunity to block her now.

Nope. Don't overthink things. She unblocked you maybe because she felt that it was overkill. Or maybe she's just interested in what's going on in your life.

It doesn't mean she WANTS to talk to you. Think of it like being generous or polite. She just figured no harm will come from unblocking you.

If you want to talk to her sure, but keep it absolutely casual. Your friendship level has been reset completely.

Well, if she made it clear she wanted nothing to do with you back then, then she probably would have messaged you if she wanted to TALK. I don't think she would expect you to message her in these circumstances. However, if she took the time to unblock you, she obviously has loosened up on the "doesn't want anything to do with you" thing. Does this mean anything? I don't know. She may just want to see what you're up to.

I have done that with exes before. More often than not, it's usually because I want to see what they are up to, but no because I want them to contact me. If she wanted to talk to you, she would message yoj

No. I think you WANT It to mean that she wants you to message her. I don't think it means much of anything.

I don't think it means she wants you to message her. It probably means she's over it and she hopes you're over it.

She shouldn't have to block you for you to not message her, she should be able to have faith that you can restrain yourself from messaging her when she's made it clear she doesn't want to talk to you, which is clearly the faith she's likely acting on.

Do not message her! If she wanted you to she would've done it. Maybe she's moving on and is just curious about you or maybe she just doesn't want to stop Being friends altogether
