What God taught me about love and work

What God taught me about love and work

The bible says, “Do not spend your vigour on women, your strength on those who ruin kings.”

During the pandemic, I tried hard to earn money because I thought money would give me better access and more access to men, and I ended up stressing and wearing out my body, I was mistaken for a 14 year old when I worked at my job before lockdowns but now my stress has aged me.

And it seems every female I know who used their career to attract guys ends up looking stressed and worn out, it happened to two of my cousins, my aunt looks older than her mom, and it happened to celebrities like Nicky Hilton before her facial surgery. My other cousin never tried to attract men and looks like she is in her mid 20s even though she is now 40, and she is still just as slim as she was in high school after having kids.

Humans were designed to serve higher callings and when you waste your time on uncertain social vanities, it’s like eating potato chips and not expecting to get fat, or visiting deserts and not expecting to have wrinkles, it’s unnatural and toxic to your body and soul.
