Why I think new believers are sometimes lucky

When I attend church events online, I see how much respect other people have for the church and for religious ideas and I wonder why I do not appreciate the church the way that they do. I lost respect for the church because of false teachers, false respect, false believers, false help, false character and false faith.

So what I’ve concluded is that, it’s not the church that makes somebody holy, it’s your respect for the church that makes you and it holy. Somebody who gets nothing out of church because they do not respect the human sources of knowledge, will not learn piety and reverence by going to church.

Likewise, love does not come from finding the perfect person. it comes from finding a normal person who isn’t perfect, and loving them in a perfect way. And yes, I understand some people are so imperfect that loving them perfectly is impossible or dangerous to do: I’m not talking about those types of people. I’m talking about hard working people who might be clumsy at home or insensitive when they make comments about the work ethic of single mothers. People with small and manageable flaws.
