Which of these, in your not-so-humble opinion, is the correct one (or at least comes closest to the truth)?

This isn't meant to be in any way controversial or contentious, I'm just curious about what people on GAG believe about the supernatural (which is real, by the way). I wrote next to the option 'Jehovah's Witnesses' True Christians simply because in my experience they actually follow what's in the Bible and aren't hypocrites about it. They actually stand up for what they believe, aren't ashamed of that fact, and will never compromise for the sake of "modern values".

I worship God to both Jewish and Christian music. And I believe in both the Jewish and Christian bible teachings. I also think God is in all religions and there is no evil or good religion, only evil or good people.

"Dude", what do you think the Protestants did when they got their hands on the Bible? They removed all the books of the so-called Apocrypha! Every "sect" has its own version of the Bible. Do you have any idea how many different versions there are? Dozens!

That's not the same thing. JWs altered the text to try to fit their beliefs, but still don't follow that. Debates about the canon are different. And the Catholic Church has fewer Apocrypha than does the Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox Churches. It doesn't have to do with picking which one's support their doctrine but which one's they believe are inspired.

Because the concept of the Trinity is NOT biblical. God doesn't have multiple-personality disorder, which is what the Trinitarian god in fact has (three persons in one?).

@NamerOfStars That depends on who you ask. From my experience, hardline anti-theists are a very small minority. Most people who call themselves atheists disbelieve because of lack of evidence but don't hold the opinion that some sort of "higher power" is 100% literally impossible; the same way they don't believe in leprechauns or fire-breathing dragons.

@Subglacial No, it doesn't- the degree of vehemence doesn't matter. Atheism isn't "lack of belief in a god", it's "belief in the lack of a god". In the absence of proof, with inconclusive evidence on both sides, the *logical* position is "I don't know".

@Subglacial The entire reason that the word "agnostic" even exists is because TH Huxley was sick of being called an atheist. That the latter word is so frequently misused is unfortunate, but that doesn't change its meaning. It's belief of a lack, not a lack of belief.
