Is it true that some people know where you are going when you die?

My neighbor died and her sister spoke in front of people saying she's happy her sister died because she knows where she's going (maybe heaven is what she's implying?) I don't know too.
But all I know is that she was sweet when she was alive and jolly but Im just curious how some people know when you are sweet you're going to heaven is that enough to go to heaven being nice?

yes. i know. you're not going anywhere. cause the aware experience we call life ends with death. and the litteral act of "being able to physically go anywhere" also ends. so there's no "going" of any kind to any sort of place. physical or metaphysical. it's just the end for you and your awareness and experience.

the only sort of future that your physical body has is being transformed into different physical or biological material by other life forms like worms, insects and fungi.

Its a matter of feeling. Each person has a heart sense of what is right and a feeling for what seems good.

It is generally true, that someone who lead a happy peaceful life is likely to continue that in death. The idea or belief being that what we setup throughout our behaviours in life will remain with whatever remains beyond life.

Though, at the end of the day, its unknown. All that we can be certain of is the person isn't the same after (meaning embodied and living what a human knows as life).

I think we each have an incling what will happen after we die. Though I don't think anyone can truly know (except for themselves).

It's not possibile to know but everyone believes in something. Blind faith. Religious or spiritual people think they know where they are going but they actually don't. We can only guess.
