It's about finding an amazing man that loves and wants you just like you love and want him. And amazing men come in each and every race. So when we find one we like, will we pursue them? You betcha.
But it's not the thirsty ones you need to worry about. The 'thirsty' ones are generally desperate and insecure, and that's not attractive to any man. Not any real man, anyway. It's secure women (of every race) who aren't thirsty and enjoy men but don't need one that are more likely to be eliminating men from the dating pool. Just sayin'.
As for a real answer to your question, well... a lot of 'your' guys are incredibly hot. And um, talented. So can you really blame these girls? They just know a good thing when they see one, I guess.
If you focus more on getting what you want out of life on your own, and on accomplishing your own goals, the guys you want will be doing the same, and you'll meet one that you don't have to worry about chasing. :)
I agree with many posts on here... look at a calendar to see what year it is! I can tell you from experience that you should NEVER discount someone and their potential to make you happy based on their race!! I married "the perfect guy" per my family - white, successful/affluent family, etc. He made it his mission to make me miserable for his own personal amusement! I know better now!! I don't care if a guy is purple, if he is a "good" man that's all I care about!!! I don't care about anyone's opinion about it either... they don't live my life!! Good luck and I hope you learn sooner versus later than race does not matter. There are great AND awful guys in all colors, shapes, and sizes. You just might miss out on someone who is perfect for you if you keep your blinders on!!!

Nowadays I see a lot of interracial dating and I love seeing this.
When you see me date a black woman I date her because she is a great woman. When you see me date a white women it is because she is a great woman.

People are free to date whoever they want. Maybe nowadays interracial dating is more accepted, so people feel more confortable dating outside their race more openly.
Which doesn't mean people didn't feel attracted to other races in the past. But they were too racist themselves to openly admit. Nevertheless, as a person who had the chance to examine many historical documents from colonial times through the American continent, I can tell you that, even in times of slavery, it was common for white people to have sexual affairs with them. Including white women with black men. Not to mention both black women and black men used to be raped in the lord's properties. So there was attraction, although twisted by oppressive power relations.
As racism diminushes, people feel more safe admiting they feel attracted to other races and can go on dates with them without being AS judged. Feeling attracted to another race is natural and has many evolutionary advantages.

I think it's kind of a stigma in the US that black women are the least desirable of all women. Basically 99% of black women are only with black men. But women tend to have more variation of the races they're attracted to, I see lots of mixed couples like white/black, mexican/asian, white/hispanic, white/indian, black/asian. But the woman is almost NEVER black in these mixed couples.
In general... that isn't true at all.
In the specific, isolated cases where it is true... it's usually "cultural tourism" and "cultural trophies." Basically to show how "tolerant" and "forward-thinking" they are... before they settle down with a white guy.
Theyre not stealing anything. a black man does not have to be with a black woman. He can be with a white one, a Chinese one, an indian one, etc.
Same with white women. and everyone else of every race.
I didn't realize that you were only allowed to date within your own race. I prefer white guys, but I have no issue with black (or whatever race) girls who date white men. At work there is a cute couple where the girl is Asian and the guy is white.
