The reason I ask is because I'm confused. I support gay rights, including gay marriage and I don't care if my friends are gay and have boyfriends as long as they're not over the top about it. But I don't like it when gay men act very stereotypically gay. I can't stand the diva, drama queen, catty or bitchy behavior that SOME gay men exhibit. I was at a gay acquaintance's birthday party once.. A lot of the gay men were frolicking around, with the "You go girl!" attitude and some were puckered (that's the best way I can describe it) with an over sexual "I want to get f**d tonight walk and way of talking. It made me kind of sick. So does that make me homophobic?

This word is overused. I personally don't agree with homosexual acts. I believe it is wrong. However, I still love the person. I know many people who are gay or trans (etc). I love and respect them, not their choices. Just like how I have a friend who does drugs. I love and respect him, but not his decisions. People use the term homophobic so much. It is ridiculous. Same with sexist and racist. If you actually experienced these things, you wouldn't dare compare your situation to theirs. All who live in America are EXTREMELY privileged. ALL. If someone verbally insults me, you know what I do? I brush it off. If someone physically attacks me, you know what I do? I defend myself. Yes it is a possible HYPOTHESIS ;) Statistically speaking, being the only ones in the ENTIRE universe is not possible.
