I mean, you do, or you wouldn't have mentioned it at all in the first place. It's okay. White people are generally very uncomfortable talking about race. It's why it ought to be talked about more and in a less confrontational manner ("white people just want to kill anyone not white!" is not productive. Making fun of trashy white girls however, is.)

I never heard of someone actively preening through potential mates to get a mixed baby. I generally thought people made babies with who they fell in love with/had sex with.
