This seems a bit extreme lol
If you know the girl and she trusts you, I dont see a problem with putting your arm around her. No one will sue you for that.
I know Taylor Swidt ruined a guys life because of bad optics
He didn't actually touch her butt, his hand was just hoovering behind her and looks like it is. She sued him and won lol. Money wins in Law.
It is a tough call. I know a few women I could trust. But I know a lot that I would not.
Did Taylor Swift ruin this man's life? ↗

Poor guy, this is terrible. Yeah its best to be careful nowadays
If only they had the sense to just ask, "is it OK if I put my hand on your waist/shoulder/whatever?"
That last one's a classic, though, I guess she said no!
Why ask? What's wrong with the hover? I think it is great!
Hover hands. . . for life!!!
This is another fav.
Or I could be very disappointed. And it isn't like i am trying to cop a feel. I am trying to show emotion or care. And if the person I am trying to extend that to, becomes even a little bit flaky, forget it.
I think it looks silly but hey I guess it’s fine. They can protect themselves from harassment claims.
Well Taylor Swift doesn't have to worry about it again it life.
Wow... 😂 it’s funny but also really sad. It sucks that guys fear being accused.

Hilarious. Not necessary if men are careful who and how they hug. But hilarious.
And how careful should one be Cake?
I get the feeling that your viewpoint isn't as complicated as my own. It is funny in the photos, women don't have to worry about being careful.
Cake, do you really believe women are taught not to victimize other people?
That's not what I said, actually.
I said "how not to".
Women are socialized to treat other people's bodies in a very different way from how men are socialized, and because of that, we aren't usually the ones with a history of too much intrusive, undesired touch. Not "never" of course.
And I am not saying that women never victimize other people, we just don't do it in the same way. So, we are simply not perceived as the same kind of physical threat.
Yeah, I know this means guys who never did shit to nobody get treated like a potential creep. We can't fix that for you guys. That's going to have to be an inside job.
I think that is just a matter of semantics. But you seem to think that women somehow are socialized to have more respect for another person's body.
Of course, I disagree and I think it is actually a silly claim. But one thing is for certain, given your view and that of many other women on this subject, I think I am advocate of the "hover hands for life" movement.
Of course, I am not saying every woman. You might be suspicious of every man. And that's cool. Do you.
I have a lot of female friends. Some of them I would trust with my life. So I wouldn't be afraid to actually show them emotion. But there are others. . . .
well. . .
Not really. It's 2019 and a guy has got to protect himself from false sexual harrassment claims, false domestic abuse claims and false rape claims.
I learned this a few years ago after a girl I had rejected made accusations, fortunately I had an alibi of about 400 people and a date as I was at a wedding out of state when it was supposed to have occurred.
I learned then that a man has to protect himyself otherwise a false allegation from a woman you knew years ago can be made and destroy your future or your family.

Well be careful out there, dude. That's all we can say.
It's sad that guys have to do that just so these chicks won't lie on them.
I don't know. I think it is just a phase.
It's an insecure guy thing. I remember seeing it back in middle school. Guys who aren't comfortable enough to just let their hand touch a girl for a photo. It's been a thing for years
Nah, I don't think it is about insecurity. I think it is about making sure you are not accused of sexual harassment.
Keanu Reeves doesn't seem like the insecure type.

Hover hands forever!
lol there's also the displaying you're not together thing. Kind of like how girls do that patting motion if a guy is hugging her and she wants others to know she's not with him. He also had a cigarette in one of those photos. So that makes sense there. Middle photo gave an error message.
Middle photo.
Dolly Parton.
this is th4 dumbest shit ever. its not sexual harrasment to have your arm around someonein a picture unless they specifically asked you not to. swearmto god people these days on some bitch shit
This dude couldn't even find work at this photo.
It's a new measure which needs to be taken in order to avoid rape accusations
I don't worry about it, If anyone tried to make a false harassment claim to me he/she would "disappear" never to be found again
It’s smart women are just looking to be the victim today and it’s like pushed upon by feminists
Uuuuuuuuuuuh ;_; painful
Haha!!
It's pretty funny but quite ridiculous
And quite necessary.
lol. I don't hover hand.
You must have a serious bank account.
I just don't hang out with cunty women who would claim sexual harassment because I put my hand on them in a picture they want to take with me.
Those girls are ugly. It doesn't work like that
What does the attractiveness of the girl have to do with hovering hands? You do it because you don't want to be accused of sexual harassment or inappropriate touching.
Remember when Taylor Swift claimed a guy grabbed her ass under her skirt? She ruined this man's life.
I wouldn’t want any of them touching me either.
But it is perfectly okay for you to do the touching.
Did I say that? No.
Oh okay! You can I could take a photo like this! That would be awesome!
If you’re lucky.
Of if you are.
Lol look at her then look at him. Come on.
That’s just pathetic and sad.
Wtf.
The funniest one yet!
I'm a girl and I do this because people are nasty
Haha stupid.
It can be fun.
