1. Women go on a diet and get slim. Easily solved. 2. Man goes on a diet and gets slim. Still doesn't make him strong. He needs many hours working out to get strong and the working out NEVER stops his whole life if he wants to stay strong. 3. Women shave weekly. Men shave daily. 4. Women fix their hair. Men that don't shave their head still have to fix theirs too. The bald ones are about equal to the women that just put their hair back into a ponytail. 5. Women can be fat and it is approved of by society these days, but if a man is fat it isn't approved of. They are even encouraging fat women by having plus size models. 6. Tall women have it hard. Short men have it hard. 7. Society generally doesn't care about men so there is no encouragement or sympathy for them, but there is a lot for women.
The ideal male body image is a little harder to obtain nevertheless, you still have a lot of ugly/average guys in movies getting attractive girls. Ugly women are usually only in movies as comedy.
Thing is getting down to there is not the problem it's staying there. In most cases the body cannot function properly only taking in 400or500cals. for any great length of time...
Both are, not all men/women can achieve these results. Whether it is guys needing to be chiseled or women needing to have the perfect hourglass and be at least 5'10".
Being skinny just means don’t eat like a whale. Being rippped is a lifestyle forever. Masculinity is constantly being challenged every day. Women aren’t constantly being challenged by other women like men are always challenged by other men
At this point I almost quit eating for a while and quit everything else. I don't eat sugary foods or drink soda or carbonated drinks and I still struggle with weight. Then again, depression does control part of it
Don’t quit eating that’s bad for you. Do high intensity interval training. You burn more calories doing short bursts of intense training than if you do low intensity training all day
Everyone wants to whine about how they're worse off, because then they get to dismiss everyone else's situations, and claim that they're minuscule in comparison and "not a real problem".
I feel both can be equally harmful depending on the person (especially during puberty) and it doesn't help that most people try to tear each other down to feel better about themselves
The is equally detrimental to both men and women. It doesn't matter if it's physical fitness, politics, social views, or anything. Their vultures on mosquitoes trying to prey on people to make them think the way they do.
Men by a landslide, all women have to do is not eat junk food and do a bit of exercise, men have to spend hours upon hours in the gym, have a certain diet as well as managing the rest of their life too
Fuck if i know. However it is a fact that men have to work harder for their "perfect body". All women have to do to get thin is not eat, men have to work out to get the abs.
@kittycat119 Don't play dumb. You know that you don't have to not eat. You calculate your BMI and eat that much. That requires no effort whatsoever. In fact, you work even less because you prepare less food.
Lmao everyone has to eat or you'll die at some point. Eating less then recommended makes you sick. Which is y when I was anorexic b4 I was always sick and in the hospital
And we're supposed to get up and do our hair, do our make up, wear uncomfortable bras all day, supposed to have massive tits and ass to fit into today standard. And low and behold if I go out without makeup, all the guys say "are you feeling okay" "you look unwell" "you look tired". I think woman have a lot more expected of them, we also are expected to work out so we can have the perfect ass shape and flat stomach etc. And men are judged less if they are over weight, if a woman is overweight, everyone judges her.
Well that's true, I didn't say it's not harmful to women I just said it takes more work from men. To look like the man in the pictures it takes years of working out. Personally I don't care about boobs/ass size or makeup. It's really what's on the inside that matters to me. If it's just being hot I'd get a prostitute

It takes MUCH more work and discipline for a man to be in that kind of shape like in the pictures than it does for a woman to just be slim.
1. Women go on a diet and get slim. Easily solved.
2. Man goes on a diet and gets slim. Still doesn't make him strong. He needs many hours working out to get strong and the working out NEVER stops his whole life if he wants to stay strong.

I don't eat like a whale and I exercise daily but can't seem to lose weight or fat.
Eat healthier and do more intense exercises
At this point I almost quit eating for a while and quit everything else. I don't eat sugary foods or drink soda or carbonated drinks and I still struggle with weight. Then again, depression does control part of it

Ok thanks for the tips!
How tall are you and how much do you weigh
why do people make a competition out of shit like this
Everyone wants to whine about how they're worse off, because then they get to dismiss everyone else's situations, and claim that they're minuscule in comparison and "not a real problem".
Duh men, we have to work VERY HARD for our body, women can just get plastic surgery , which 90% of women already do and done.
90 percent of woman? Okay please show me those stats, thanks 🤦🏻♀️

Historically it was far worse for women, but currently I think it's about equal.
Men by a landslide, all women have to do is not eat junk food and do a bit of exercise, men have to spend hours upon hours in the gym, have a certain diet as well as managing the rest of their life too
Men, we have to workout all fucking day. And working out is ass
Fuck if i know. However it is a fact that men have to work harder for their "perfect body". All women have to do to get thin is not eat, men have to work out to get the abs.
So killing yourself by not eating is easier then working out for like 30 minutes a day? Seriously dude

@kittycat119 Basal Metabolism. Google it.
Don't need 2. I know basics human knowledge. Without food for a long time u die
@kittycat119 Why are you proud of being ignorant?
I'm not. I'm just not a moron and know people die without food after so long. So saying starving yourself is easy is retarded
@kittycat119 But i... You... BMR... Never mind. There is no way you are 20 years old. Maybe 12. But nowhere near 20.
Whatever dude
I would say the women have more psychological harmful body image thou it depends on the society.
Women take it harder but Men have the worse image. A ton of guys could go to the gym every day for 2 years and never get the 6 pack abs or be 6 feet
I think it's actually pretty equal, but women are just much more likely to play the victim.
Gay men. Since the whole fashion industry is run by then.
Neither, both are equally as bad because it affects the preferred sex harmfully.
Actually men, since women are supposed to just not eat. We're supposed to not eat and also work out so much to look like John cena
And we're supposed to get up and do our hair, do our make up, wear uncomfortable bras all day, supposed to have massive tits and ass to fit into today standard. Haha every guy says that, but when it comes down to picking a woman they always go for the better looking one. But I see where you're coming from.
What do you mean by coming from? And yeah all guys say that but I'm saying it for real
I think it’s harder for women because we are more encouraged to have a good shape and you are either born a shape or you aren't
