Of all the stereo types I've heard, I've never heard that one.
When I hear Morocco, words like "savage" or "cave man" don't cross my mind. If anything, I thought it was a mediteranean (someone tell me how to spell it, 'auto correct' isn't helping... also fuck you auto correct!) country.
I think it's a muslum (oh come on! auto correct, for all the words you change on me with out asking you'd think you could give me the correct spelling when I actually ask you! fucking auto correct pisses me off!) country... muslim? there's a red squiggly line under the word... Muslim... okay got it.
I'm not undoing all that typing...
Muslim! It's a Muslim country. THAT is one of my preconceptions.
Just this summer I worked with a dude from Morocco. Told me Morocco had a King? or was it a general? or was it a king in a military uniform?
He showed me a Wikipedia page on that guy. There was something interesting about it, but can't remember. It was way back in summer.
Oh! It's hot as fuck! That's my assumption, but I'm Canadian, so me the United States is hot as fuck.

Caves... people living in caves, but I think those were migrants from other African countries, and they were only there until they were ready to cross over to Europe. I don't remember my source for that, so take it with a grain of salt... I could be thinking of Egypt...
Anyway, I've never heard anyone describe Moroccans as 'savages' or 'cave people'.
I typically a picture or a light-skinned that guy kind of a milliliter and complexion. Beyond that I don’t really know much about morocco other than that it’s a primarily Muslim country and unlike your neighbors in the Middle East you guys are not dicks trying to kill people
When I think of Morocco in general, it makes me think of a lot of incense, Gypsy style jewelry, etc.
why? Bc I went to Disney work and they have a little “Morocco” and it was beautiful and that’s kinda what they had.

i dont think many of us would use those terms at all... we may see morocco as somewhat behind the west in social progression but no more than any other muslim country or indeed certain christian areas in the west
