Good for Minneapolis!! Sure, it is legal in UK, and I believe in NL, too. In fact, in UK there are no specific laws prohibiting nudity.

The Waveney District council, in UK, voted a few years ago to remove almost all restrictions on nudity on all its beaches. The only condition is that naturists should be discrete.

Of course, Waveney and Suffolk Coastal districts are now one, called East Suffolk DC. I do not know whether it now applies to ALL beaches on the coast or not. I must find out, as we have a beach only 50 metres away.

Where I am in North Dakota, nudity is legal unless it is nudity "with intent to arouse, appeal to, or gratify that person's lust, passions or sexual desires."

The problem is, its hard to convince some crusty old county sheriff that sitting out on the back lawn sunbathing nude is not done for any of those reasons, since they can't separate nudity from sexuality in their sheltered brain.

That being said, toplessness is allowed in the city I live in, and while the cops might tell you to move on or cover up, they won't arrest anyone for it (or at least that's what some of my friends have reported).

My hometown city code bans topless sunbathing in public places. According to local law, it is unlawful to appear “on any street, avenue, highway, road, park, sidewalk, bike path, beach, beach front or waterway located in the city, or appear in any public place, store or business in a state of nudity.” The code notes that it includes “female breasts.”

At least its not ambiguous I guess...

Similar in Waveney. Police were instructed to intervene only in cases of blatant exhibitionism. Luckily, we have British Naturism to guide us and speak for us!

California and Florida have the most nude beaches, but they also have the most beaches... I'm not sure which country is the most friendly, a lot of European countries are more lax about nudity, Germany has FKK, etc.
