Some people believe that racism should be addressed in the public education system because racism is an evil that should be eradicated from our society. I am not a racist but I have a strong aversion to any argument that condones the obliteration of certain beliefs based on the content. As soon as that concept becomes acceptable, then we will have the thought police telling us what we should and should not believe, and your beliefs will be safe only as long as you are in the majority.

In law school, I was taught that the freedoms of our country are not preserved by defending the popular and righteous, but they are preserved by defending the unpopular and the unrighteous.
