So I wanted to know what does this mean to you
What does it mean to be a nationalist?
So I wanted to know what does this mean to you
To me it implies a race, ethnicity, culture and religion that becomes predominant in a region and maintains the homogeneity of that people for their sake. Multi cultural states always have more crime, corruption and confusion because of all the diffferent cultures within in it struggling for control of the government. If a governmental system could fairly distribute and alow for a diverse populace it would by necessity have different bodies within it made up of those people, for those people; like an Empire. America is an Empire without any representation for these different groups and is thus riddled with corruption and separatist movements which must ne put down violently. The EU is the same way. I am against all forms of empire and believe in nations as the best form of State. These are the two basic types and they come in any style, communism for example has worked in Nations (North Korea) but not with Empires (Russia). The detractors of nationhood merely do not like the culture of the nation they live in. No nation could ever be formed by a bunch of sexual degenerates or criminals without collapsing in on its self so they must be ignored. Viva la France!
Oui vive la France haha 🤣
You ask what it means to be a "nationalist", and on your Europe map it displays each country with fascist symbols. You do realize that you can prefer your own countries above every other, yet not think that would require your country taking over the world, right?
There's different flavors of nationalism. I'll list them in bullet points so it's easier to read:
*Racial Nationalism:
-White Nationalism, Black Nationalism, Racial separatism
-Wanting countries where only one race is allowed to exist
-Advocates include Richard Spencer, the KKK, and the New Black Panther Party
*Ethnonationalism:
-a country based on a specific ethnic group, often with a distinctive language, customs, religion, etc.
-It may overlap with racial nationalism, although ethnicity is potentially open to anybody of any race willing to learn the language, customs, etc.
-Advocates include Hindutava, the American conservatives and the Republican Party, and UKIP
*Civic nationalism:
-based on the idea that anybody within a certain area can be part of the nation.
-It believes that national identity is important for people, but seeks an inclusive identity not based on race, language, or ethnicity.
-Many American liberals (read: social democrats) are Civic nationalists if not globalists
*Left-wing nationalism/Nationalist Socialism
-not to be confused with "National Socialism"
-a form of nationalism that tends to be progressive or anti-imperialist. Since nationalism is usually regarded as a right-wing ideology in the First World, leftist nationalism tends to be distinguished separately. Third World countries nationalism or Korean nationalism and Taiwanese nationalism are classified as left-wing nationalism.
-anti-United States nationalism in Latin America is another example of left-wing nationalism.
Forgot to add to the "Ethnonationalism" example: Many Italian Americans I've encountered are ethnonationalistic, though they walk the line between that and a form of racial nationalism with their belief that everything Italian (food, bloodline, etc.) are superior to all other ethnic groups.
That you cannot help any other country on Earth unless your own country is as strong as it can be first, and the only way to do that is pay attention to your own country first.
Nationalism is an extreme love for ones country it's usually equated to a High Level of Patriotism
I would consider fascists Nazis etc Ultranationalists
PS I am a European Nationalist
Only EU states consider it bad because it goes against multicultural agenda

If people call you nationalist that's rather a compliment than an insult. And if that's somehow bad in Europe then there is something wrong going on in our countries. I assure you people would congratulate you in countries like Latvia or Estonia if you call yourself a nationalist. To love your genetic family and have have group interests as a people is a natural instinct and anybody who has a problem with Europeans preserving their culture is a bigot who, I'm sure, would never deny the same right to any other people in this world.
And here is a part of Mark Collet's book The Fall of Western Man which you can download for free: "The first and central tenet of nationalism is love for one's own race – genuine nationalism is not an ideology of hate for others, but a love for and devotion to one's own people and culture. Nationalism wishes for Western man to embrace his own blood and rebuild the Western community. To be at peace with the world, a man must love himself and his own family and community – to hate your own people and to be riddled with false guilt will never lead to happiness or fulfilment. Hatred for other people or races who also wish to follow a path of nationalism is wholly counterproductive. If Africans, Asians or any other ethnicity for that matter wish to embrace their own people and culture and strive for self-determination, then they should be applauded for doing so. The world is a magnificent place and is made up of an intricate tapestry of different cultures, races and ethnicities – and should remain that way."
It means to love your country and stand up for it, it doesn’t mean you blindly accept it’s policies or blindly believe it is already a good country or that the government has good people in it. A nationalist would want the country to be the best it can be, but because one is a nationalist, it doesn’t excuse racism of any kind. Securing the borders is okay, but legal immigration must be made easy for good people trying to flee violence or for those looking for better opportunities while their nation offers a lot less opportunities or little or none within reasonable reach, that is if it’s a big nation. It’s a different story if it’s a small nation, I mean like, resources and supply is not unlimited unfortunately, but with blocking the bad people by doing background check on all nations the individual was in and giving a sanity test, it reduces the burden. But just because it is a burden, it doesn’t mean it’s bad, as long as it is very little and as long as they can become contributing members of the society, but it doesn’t mean they are replacing us, although the culture will be changed quite a bit, but cultural change and cultural mixing has happened across the world over and over again, so although the culture may seem sacred and significant, sooner or later it will dissolve unfortunately. It’s like with species, languages, customs, etc. It comes and goes.
It's about puttning your own people first. A nationwide comradery where the nations interests outweighs the need of others.
To me it's basically just common sense. You pay your tax and work your body for The betterment of yourself, your close ones and people who would do the same for you.
Globalism on the other hand is about swearing your money and labor to a higher power to distribute as they see fit over the entire globe. It's impossible for you to determine if your wllingness to be "good" is being taken advantage of, it's impossible to know if you're properly compensated for The work you put in and there's no way to trust that once you've spent a life in labor your loved ones and children will be properly cared for by the Globalist organisations.
I don't mind one bit being called a nationalist, on the contrary I take pride in it.
It's literally just being in support of your country and wanting it to make decisions that benefit it's citizens first.
It's used as derogatory because some how it's supposedly a better idea to bow to rich globalists who care nothing for your well-being.
Nationalism is a natural outcome of individuals exercising their right to self determination. Those with similar goals, family, language, culture, ethnicity, religious beliefs, and traditions will group together to defend themselves from outside threats.
Obviously, the U. S. version of English appears to understand it different from others.
Indeed - in my own culture ''nationalist'' has a negative smell and it indicates some kind of borderline extremists involved. Which then is a valid point about ''American'' nationalists :)
So when YOU get labelled a nationalist - it's perhaps some sort of cultural shock.
Yes can be haha. I love my country and its history but the Americans can't blame me for that, they are very patriotic too lol
Where in FRANCE ''la Marseillaise'' is also sung in Paris :) - without discussion or civil unrest.
Yes lol, a lot of people find our hymn too violent lol. Do you know the "Chant du départ" ? it is a bit like the second French national anthem
So much fighting (*rolls eyes*)
Yeah 🤣
In my mind it means that you care about your nation's sovereignty and that you put the interests of your nation above that of other nations.
A nationalist is someone who is proud of their nation and to be a part of it, your detractors are most likely dumb kids that want everything handed to them free, they have no drive, no ambition. They want open borders on demand abortion, free housing etc.
Nationalism has been stamped out because it offends a globalist vision, or at least it offends a united vision. I personally don't believe in conglomerates being mixed until they are singular, which is exactly what they have been doing to the US and are now trying to do to Europe.
Europa Erwache.
@EyesOfGod You mean the places the Jewish bankers have little to no control of? yea I already knew that.
@EyesOfGod shut up retard
@EyesOfGod Why do you act and type like a child? what I said was not a comeback simply for the sake of saying it, I am calling you a retard, a mentally retarded individual. And I believe that, and your little response didn't make any sense, please reread it and rewrite it so that people with an IQ higher than the room temperature of an apartment in Sweden can read it.
It has multiple positive and negative meanings.
But usually when being called "nationalist" it's the negative being alluded to. That you're racist, xenophobic and jingoistic, willing to kill.
Fuck Yeah!
A nationalist which is a good trait to have is a person who is in 100% favor and in the best interest of their country and people.
So nothing bad about it.
Nothing. Be a strong nationalist. I'm one.
What is your Nation?
Dominican republic. It's very bad now. Flooded with illegal immigrants. 😡
As far as I understand, it is to possess a belief that the country is the best place. This isn't necessarily a bad thing unless you keep people who want to enjoy the same benefits as you do out.
Nationalism is an ideology that a nation should stand for itself and it's own interests.
What this means depends on the nationalist in question.
It's just the opposite of globalist.
It's a person who follows their own nation's interests no matter what. Which can be dangerous and potentially a bit xenophobic.
Someone who is very tied up to their traditions, national identity and country. Someone who can do anything for it and deeply connected.
Should I establish the National Socialist American Workers Party?
No its already been established.
@TheOracle10 holy f*cking shit
If you'd known, it was established by George Lincoln Rockwell in the 50s. He was a Major in the Navy during WW2, he became a believer in National Socialism after reading Mein Kampf. He pointed out Jewish communist spies in the US and Canada as well as their connections to Soviet Intelligence.
@EyesOfGod God, learn to spell you fucking idiot. I see you didn't take my advice on reading what you type before you send it?, I guess that is also why you sent me 2 messages instead of one when I never replied.
And that isn't a theory, that is fact you fucking idiot.
Believing in maintaining your own country as best as possible is a positive thing.
To love your country more than the people in it. Or the refugees asking to come in.
What @infobotlives put, he nailed it.
In this case, I'm really a nationalist lol
Well me to, hard no to be when you have been in your nations Armed Forces
Yes it's true haha. Is it true that in England you have Islamic courts?
Not sure.
@julielamar2 nope we don’t lol
The Islamic Sharia Council?
@julielamar2 no we do not have what you believe we have.
I could set up the Jedi Council in exactly the same way.
It’s the usual press mis stating facts
@julielamar2 yeah, they've got em!
