Why do some feminists think that men are NOT sexualized or subject to strict dress codes?

This is really confusing the many many feminists and regular people who argue something that is clearly not true.

I am genuinely confused. And people say "it doesn't happen. Men don't experience being sexualized or told what to wear." And I'm thinking... Are you sure?

I don;t even understand the conversation I am having...

So what is your argument? That in order to be sexy as a man or to have success in the dating game you have to look like the photos above. I have never been ripped. I even went through periods where I had a belly. And by GaG standards I pretty unattractive.

I have never had issues dating beautiful women.

Why do supposed mgtow guys pretend that men and women face the same pressures and scrutiny?

Men are scrutinized and face an entirely different set of criticisms. But the inability of male GaGers to talk about masculinity in any detail blocks us from having those constructive conversations.

It is not. It is the same mythology used to debunk feminism. We do not face the same type of scrutiny. You can work out as much as you want. But if you do not develop self confidence you will always be in the friend zone.
