I was 21 when I lifeguarded with a bunch of high schooler's and other college kids. It gets kind of weird and you realize you have to have a different kind of dynamic with the college guards vs the high school guards. A couple of the girls were into me. I just politely declined. I don't know man Shitty people are Shitty and should he punished. And I'm going to have all my daughters learn a martial art so they can kick some ass if they ever need to, and I'm gonna teach all my sons about consent, inside and out and the clear communication that needs to happen ANY time you have sex. Men are physically stronger than women. This will never change, but we have to do all we can to prevent horrible shit from happening. I know WAY too many girls who have been raped.
I can imagine that as a female facing this situation it may be assimilated and affect you differently than a male.
But if I were subpoenaed, I'd go in and do my duty. If I were somehow the victim, I'd go in there with even more determination of getting justice.
Although, to be honest, I'm a bit more barbaric. If I were his victim, I'd feel more like justice had been served if he were shift-delete from existence.
This event should have never happened in the first place.

What an awful thing to experience, and then be further forced into at such a young age. I would imagine I would be equally angry and terrified. You are tough stuff.
Oh no it wasn't optional, I didn't have a choice in the matter, the worst part really was just sitting in the waiting room with the other girls and their families before having to go in and be interviewed.
I was chosen to be on a jury in a trial like that before. When I told them that I wouldn't convict anybody based on someone's word alone because people can say whatever they want and that doesn't mean it is true. I said I would need actual physical evidence to convict anybody of anything, and then the prosecution dismissed me.
Go to court and do so! I got molested by my next door neighbor a couple times but, I had no idea it was any kind of crime! I just thought he was just some weird guy that had a problem. As far as I know, he never DID go to jail for it and, decades later, I found out he also got my brother and one of my ex-sisters!!

Well i like to see the evidence against him, i would like to ask how long was it when the victims were assaulted and where? Than i like to hear why? Ok after reading what you wrote, All that leave's is the proof of this happening. Is their any visible evidence or is it 4 v. 1 word against word. Yea if were just going off by what the girls are saying he's guilty but what else is their?
Of course I would be nervous, possibly scared. I would also feel good that I would have the a chance to testify to what he did to me and how my world will never be the same. Having a hand in sending him to jail and showing him that he is a coward and I'm not scared of him will also help me move on
Depends what I thought about the guy. Whether I thought he was innocent / a good person in geneal. Emotions could range from "Do I really need to leave the house for this?" to "I should help him out, no way he would've", to "Fucking hell, I knew he was a retard"
I'd want to survive the ordeal with as much grace as I could. Tell the truth and fulfill my mandate, yes, but my primary concern would be my own well being. That's a dark path to have to travel. Again.
I would do the exact same thing as I would if I were ordered to testify for any other crime. I would go and do it. I would honestly answer every question put to me.
As a victim of sexual abuse I am conflicted. It's not easy to come forward. It's different for men and women but men have a different stigma attached when they are victims.
I would not believe the girls until I saw concrete evidence because way to many “metoo” loving females falsely accuse men of sex crimes and they have made it impossible to trust accusations at face value.
yeah doesn't really work that way unfortunately... I am surprised that @TruthBringer and @Daniela1982 aren't in here asking what we were wearing to cause that to happen..

@exitseven Sadly miss Subarugirl here has misrespresented my analogy entirely. Nowhere did I compare a woman to a watch. I compared two different scenarios who are similar in portraying the consequences of not taking proper personal responsibility. And that was where my analogy of wearing a Rolex in a ghetto came to play. I didn't compare a watch to a woman as she desperately tries to put it as, I compared two vastly different scenarios to bring the similarity of the context forth.
The main argument of this was on one of her other questions under an entirely different comment. Miss subaru is having a damage control session because her arguments got debunked by scientific study and common sense alone. Hence why she is slandering my name and that of Daniela over here
