There are also animals like snails, clownfish, earthworms, and frogs that are hermaphrodites: which means they’re born with both “male” and “female”reproductive genitals. pseudohermaphrodism is a phenomenon that can be observed in some humans as well.

There are countless traits we can measure. For each, we can find bell curve distributions for different sub-populations like biological sex. Sometimes those bell curves are basically the same. Sometimes they are shaped different but have similar averages. Sometimes they have the same shape but different averages. When the bell curves are offset like that, we can determine what is generally "feminine" and "masculine", i. e. correlating with femaleness /maleness.
This should all be super easy, to understand, intuitive, even.
But none of that means that sex isn't real and discrete. There are men and there are women and they're different and there are objective ways of distinguishing them. AND there are generally masculine and feminine traits that are not absolute.
Men are generally taller than women, but there are short men and tall women. That doesn't contradict the concrete distinction between man and woman.
The distinction between "gender" and "sex" was made up by an insane pedophile and child abuser, Dr. John Money.
Sane humans with minds, eyes, and souls have no problem understanding that masculinity and femininity imprecise spectrums that nonetheless obviously correlate with concrete sexual identity.

Because ones sex is one of the first building blocks of ones identity that one learns, seeing as how most of society will call a baby with a penis a boy, and one with a vagina a girl, obviously without asking the child, and equating sex with gender, the child (usually correctly) assumed that is the case and uses it as a building block for their personhood.
The existence of transpeople recognizes the difference between sex and gender and forces people to question their own, at least for a moment, therefore forcing them to question a bedrock element of who they are. We are literally shaking them to their foundations, and people don't like deep, introspective thinking, it gets scary.
As far as conflating gender and gender expression. We dress as we do as a social signifier instead of wearing a sign around our necks saying "I'm a ____, my pronouns are ___". Most people in society dont have time to have a conversation with you about your pronouns before addressing the business at hand. Therefore it is understandable to expect people to dress according to the gender by which they find it acceptable to be referred to.

Each one will carry his own load and have his own time before God to be called to account for good and bad. So again regardless of what I say, what you feel, what we have done, none of it changes what is truly in our heart. We were making progress in accepting people of all sexual persuasions until the radical LGBTQ activists pushed it too far and created a backlash.

My impression is that gender expression is about how the person wants to feel and be treated. In fact, as a man, choosing between a business suit or working clothes makes a similar statement.
People don't find it hard to think of someone in a suit as serious about money, why should they find it hard to think of someone in a nice dress as someone who wants to be treated like a lady?
They can pretend all they want, but that's all it is, pretending. Also if you've ever read about people who have "genitalia that doesn't fit this limiting binary" they're people who have syndromes, not an insult just science, they have the wrong chromosome structure and all of them end up having infertility problems among other things depending on if they're actually born male or female. And I focus on that because for example XXXY is a disorder that only happens to men, while XXX is a disorder that only happens to women, in other words even those have one of the 2 genders, obviously based on science they just happen to have something wrong in them. And anything else is just a psychological problem called gender dysphoria, you don't need hormones you need a shrink, now it's okay if you'd rather go for hormones than "fix things" but let's not make it sound like it's factual.

Because for many people if not the majority of people the problem you describe seems like a constructed first world problem. If you´ve never had such an identity problem it´s harder to understand that kind of problem. I´m not saying you can´t but it´s harder. It´s even harder if you don´t have people that had or have issues in your social environment. I´ll for example never had sexual identity problems and I don´t get the fuss your making about it. In my experience the people that say they feel like they can´t decide if they are male or female have the most narrow definitions what it means to be a man or a woman.

I don't think anyone has an issue with gender expression or sexual orientation. It's more what category defines the pronoun that people have the issue with. Does you sexual orientation define your pronoun? Is it how masculine or feminine you are? Your personality?
An extremely feminine man who is gay is still a man and has the pronouns of he/him/his. He's not a "she" because he behaves in a feminine manner. He's not a "she" because he's attracted to men. He's a "he" because he has a penis.

For as long as the English language has existed, gender and sex were interchangeable and male meant man and female meant female. It seems like we are changing the language to suit such a small minority. Although it seems a greater percentage of people are getting offended on other people’s behalf. Society is too quick nowadays to take offence. In Canada they are now compelling people to refer to someone by their chosen pronouns and making it an offence not to, this is an assault on freedom of speech. I would argue that more than 1% of the population are offended by the change in language yet no one would support them.

Because science doesn't care about your feelings. Scientifically speaking the best we can classify trans people as is Intersex in regards to the development of their brains. A hermaphrodite is neither male or female, but rather they're something in-between. If you really want to push this, then that's what you'll push trans people into.

If you want the abridged version, the Swedish put that exact notion that men and women have the same brains, and put that into policy, to the point of aggressively raising babies differently to prove that theory. @doopayo It doesn't matter if xxy exists, or any other type of combinations other than xx and xy. The biological definition of sex is objectively binary between male and female. If you do not fit into that, then you are biologically neither.
It doesn't matter if you think that gender is a social construct. You are scientifically wrong. The data is conclusive and has been for decades. It doesn't matter how you raise babies and children, for how they are raised has absolutely no effect how what their gender expression is. Whatever their gender is, it is innately in their brains the before they're even born. It is a biological process, being the same one behind sexuality, which would be the amount and absorption of testosterone on the fetus in the early stages of pregnancy. That is what the science indicates. Going by your false logic, if gender is a social construct and not biological, then conversation therapy should work, because gender or sexuality doesn't exist anyway, and rather it's just a bunch of made up beliefs that can easily be brainwashed out of someone.
What even is "gender expression"? Why do some people feel the need to be classified by irrelevant characteristics they choose to possess at a given time? What I mean by this is that, for example, a man that wants to do things that are typically done by women decides to "identify" as a woman. Why does this man need to add a label to himself just because he wants to do something a woman usually does? I don't understand why he cannot acknowledge that it is possible to be a man and do that thing, it does not require him to identify as something else (and identifying as something else has no utility either, in fact it can be detrimental as you are giving OTHER people the extra burden of remembering what you identify as when doing so has no benefit).
It seems like the question to ask is what, precisely, does this get in the way of. If it just makes conversations take longer, that's frustrating but not really something to get too wound up about - there are people who enjoy explaining the same thing over and over again to new people. But if it intereferes with livelihoods, that's a real problem.

In the last few years there has been a influx of new sexuality/gender related terms and no real attempt to educate the masses. I honestly don't have a clue about most of them mean or refer to. For example I recently heard someone say "My nouns are...", and I wasn't fully sure what they meant or if I'd remember that 10 mins later.
The thing is people see stuffs in different perspective be it religion, Constitution etc You may look at these stuff being all equal just like creating ur own language and making B=A and A=B. Basically not everyone would accept your opinion. i see being gay as something out of point cus even physics tells us the unlike charges attract nd like repel. Having both sex organs is natural buh nobody knows y so basically it all Still depends on how one perceives these things

No one is making the argument you can change your sex. I’m saying that having an xx and xy chromosome doesn’t determine your gender. And there are more sex chromosomes that humans can have other than just xx and xy
Biologically there is only female and male, in body and mind. The psyche can express differences that do not match the evident biological body. Most people are not thought from young that natutal ocurrance of human nature; so that's the reason (in part) why they are reluctant to accept that fact.

There are more sex chromosome possibilities other than just xx and xy that exist, there’s also the fact that one can be born with xx chromosomes but come out with a penis. As well as people who have xy chromosomes and have a fully functioning uterus.

In esence there are two sexes in human biology. Confusing that with sexual preference is a mistake. Pansexuallity, homosexuallity, asexuality, doesn't exclude the reality of feeling male or female.
Their are individuals who fenotype is the typical M and F fenotype, with the typical M, F genotype, that leads to heterosexuality. Others differ in various ways. For example: bisexuals, homosexuals, are what they are, due to their genetic expression. Same as the trans, and the called "non binary". The problem with the latter is that there is always a dominant behavior related to sex (F, M). Why? In the human biology those are the only prevalent gender. Sure, there can be casualities, but even in the presence of the casuality, there is a dominance of one sex, over the other (more F behavior than male or the orher way around ↔️)
