Does it seem like American women are more old school in comparison to English, Scottish, Irish, Australian, and Canadian women?

American women seem much more old school, and less fun, rural life plays a bigger part of the culture than typical European, or Oceanic, culture and the influence of rural Middle America is so dominating and huge that it reaches the big cities like Chicago, NY, and LA, even. Overall American women and I am sure American men (I'm not gay so don't care), seem less fun, like life is more about working on the farm, church, and family, than making money, having sex, partying. Take a look at the farmers in The Coastal Plains of Texas vs the Sheep farmers on the West Coast of Wales and I can already tell you even though both parties have similar life styles, levels of isolation from the outside world, but you will find Texas farmers are more judgmental, they drink less, things like sex before marriage, birth control, and homosexuality and dating they are more old school about.

That may have been true a hundred years ago or more but there's a big difference between farming in Wales and texts and thats size. Wales is tiny but gets influenced a lot by England and to a certain extent by Ireland. Thousands cross back and forth over the border daily to work and play so there's a mixing of ideas and culture.
Texas on the other hand is huge so people tend to only meet people like themselves and so attitudes haven't changed.

We are still more old school because, as you said, we have a lot more rural regions, which tend to attract conservatives and Christians. My families are pretty old school ourselves, but there's not really anything about my life I would change. It's fun, comfortable, and drama free.
