So would you. She clearly explained what was her personal experiences, and what was what she had heard. Hearsay is acceptable in a court of law (even though this isn't one), and it is a very good place to start questioning the people who were present under oath.
They're welcome to testify under oath that she was lying.
@goaded Yeah. She was recalling what other people suppossedly told her. She wasn’t actually there herself and I find it odd no witnesses were called to the stand
Witnesses like Pat Cipollone? Steve Bannon? There's a long list of uncooperative witnesses in this investigation. The value of Hutchinson's testimony is that it gives the investigators a good idea of what they should be asking the witnesses if they ever do testify under oath. They're all free to dispute her testimony, but unless they do it under oath, it's worthless.
For example, questioning the agents could have gone like this: Q: "What happened when President Trump got into the vehicle?" A: "We drove to the White House"
Truthful, but is that as honest and informational as: Q: "Did President Trump try to take control of the vehicle?" A: "Yes."
"... two different sources have stories that are very similar to the one that Cassidy Hutchinson testified to in the hearing on Tuesday, saying that the President was mad and that he lunged toward the steering wheel in an effort to try and get the detail to take him to Capitol Hill." transcripts.cnn.com/.../09
I'm sure the people involved will be requested to testify.
"Oh I see. So now she’s worried people are gonna catch her." What? Catch her doing what? She simply testified under oath about what she saw and heard while working yards away from the Oval Office on and around Jan 6th. You baselessly claimed that her testimony was wothless unless it was backed up, and I showed you that people were backing it up.
Trump was determined to join his armed supporters in illegally interfering with the election by attacking the Capitol. Nobody has disputed that, preferring to concentrate on one tiny detail. I wonder why.
It was a stressful siituation, and I doubt she was lying. Why would she? There was pressure for her to lie, but not from the Democrats. Witness tampering.
@goaded Are you kidding? There was no pressure from the Democrats? And yet they’re the ones who still feel like going after Trump two years after the fact.
@goaded they clearly pulled her into a backroom and told her she had to come up with something. Nobody is ever that afraid if they’re telling the truth
First off, you're basically saying "ignore all her words, she was sweating.".
Secondly, the Democrats aren't pressuring her to lie, just to tell the truth, like there's pressure on all the witnesses that are put under oath, it's a serious business, testifying to congress, especially on national TV.
And in the same hearing we learn that Trump Republicans are tampering with witnesses.
https://youtu.be/bv8Chdrjfts www.reuters.com/.../ "So let's just say this: It's a concern, and anyone who is trying to dissuade or tamper with witnesses should be on notice that that's a crime and we are perfectly prepared to provide any evidence we have to the proper authorities."
Because he wasn't in a limo, he was in an SUV sitting right behind the front seat. There's video of it. Isn't it amazing what you can do if you actually research things? 😀

Well when your bombshell witness's testimony is hearsay; how much of a case do you have?

And I like how in her testimony it was literally based on hearsay and not even her own experiences.
Also she literally had sweat dripping from her forehead practically.

@goaded the opposite. Her testimony is worthless until someone backs it up

also the front of the car is sealed from the back as the back is protected from gas attacks, you can't reach the front
How do we know he was sitting in the back? Its testimony. We should investigate it. Or haven't you seen Law and Order?
I want to hear the driver's testimony, not his henchmen's.
@goaded yep. Grabbing the wheel wasn't the issue.
Because he wasn't in a limo, he was in an SUV sitting right behind the front seat. There's video of it. Isn't it amazing what you can do if you actually research things? 😀
Well when your bombshell witness's testimony is hearsay; how much of a case do you have?
It was a four seat car, not a limo.
Bingo.
Donald Trump wants to run again in 2024. Not sure how he’ll be able to do that from a prison cell.
It won't be from anything that kangaroo court January 6th board of Congress has to offer that's for sure.
DOJ will decide if anything happens, this committee is offering evidence and testimony they can use if they want to.
Trump must have super powers like Reed Richards.
Or that wasn't the car.
@goaded it was probably a presidential Mini Cooper.
Her bogus testimony already got shot down.
I don't know.. tbh.
politics is fake
So are a lot of boobs but I still love them
Yes and that is sad.
