Because in my mind they’re on par with pedophiles as the vilest scum of humanity. Whenever I hear stories about poor kittens or puppies abandoned and left to die or a pet left to starve it breaks my heart to pieces! How can anyone be so cruel to creatures so innocent and defenceless. It’s absolutely abhorrent!
Honestly even though I’m against the death penalty these demons may make an exception in my mind.
I feel like it depends on the degree. And while I wouldn’t say death penalty I would say jail time. There needs to be better laws for animal abusers and their punishments. Up where I am are ‘The Adams duo’ they’ve stolen, sold, starved and much more to a variety of animals; they get animal bans and minimal jail time before released only to do it again.
But it also depends on your definition of abuse. Many people view obese and fat pets as healthy and happy while seeing a fit and lean animal as starved and neglected. I personally consider it abuse to allow your animal to become fat (medical reasons exempt of course) I absolutely loath seeing a fit dog adopted from a shelter or rescue only to be made obese by people that are supposed to love him. People consider dog sports abuse when the dogs love them (and I guarantee they get better diet and vet care than most pet homes). Allowing your dog to become matted because you didn’t take the time to brush it, overgrown nails. I consider it abuse for those bybs breeding exotic bullies to deliberately breed them to be non functioning and unable to breath; or bybs that jump on the popular dog trend because new movie has blown up the popularity of a breed and set the dogs up for failure in ill equipped homes; not to mention those breeders don’t breed for temperament, or health just money. Sorry kind of getting on a tangent. In short yes I agree that animal abusers are awful; animals shouldn’t be abandoned or pitted against one another, they shouldn’t be starved or beaten, denied basic care (grooming) etc..
Yes, they should get a slow, tortured death for hurting innocent animals. I think if I ever saw that happen I would go bullistic on the person. Worse than a Karen!

Well then animal lovers should face the same treatment!
Because Animal lovers are giving love to animals instead of Humans, they are distorting the supply of amount of time and love that other humans who are in need of affections should be recieving.
Girls/boys who choose prioritising their Pets over their partner girlfriend/boyfriends, would not hurt their partners that way, if their animal was not interfering with the affections and time, they as the couple must share..
NO OFFENCE!
But so many poor men and physically less beautiful women when not recieving affections from childhood and adulthood they turn angry and mad at society and other people and very bitter by old age..
If animal lovers, discarded their animals and paid attention to sharing love with other humans.. Perhaps we would have much better human society..

Doesn't make you look good does it? Get your head together deary and step back, you've not much of a clue on the matter. People who do wrong to animals and it can be proven in a court of law, do get dealt with.
But the issues are more complex than you know.
I think that's a little extreme, but those people are indeed vile and should be fined, imprisoned and made to do community service when released. Pedophiles, who I don't want doing community service with humans, and animal abusers, should be on highway garbage detail.
I would prefer a register. Not allowed to own pets, or go near pets, must tell neighbors that they have abused pets, general shaming, fines and imprisonment for breaking the rules, etc.
Of course besides the original punishment for abuse.

i hunt so of course I’ve killed deer rabbits ducks elk etc. I make sure the animal doesn’t suffer. Then I thank its soul for giving its life so I can eat.
I think it speaks to our state of western society that the majority of people care more about abused animals than aborted babies. Wonder what would happen if we talked about aborting animals?
i am angry we have a bunch of girls more worried about hurting animals than people. the same people would let murderers or muggers out of jail repeatedly

Reality is it's not easy to get a conviction and the sentences are often very light
I say they should be abused the same way they abused the animals. If they duct tape the animals mouth and paws and left to die then that is what should be done to them.
