The geopolitics of the middle east are complicated to say the least. It's never about freedom and democracy, but rather power.

Think about it like this. Russia owns vast oild reserves, so the United States has its interests in the reason so that they do not have to purchase oil from the Russians. That would take the leverage away from the Americans. Europe cannot do the same, because Russia is its neighbor, so they are less picky when it comes to where they get their oil from.

Since we already established that the US has its interests in the region, it will do everything possible to protect its interests, even if that is seen as unethical or unmoral by the majority of people. They then justify it with the use of colorful terms like "democracy" and "human rights", even though the United States has a poor track record (compared to other developed nations) when it comes to human rights of their own citizens, let alone foreigners both in US soil and outside. Sure, they might be doing better than underdeveloped countries, but they are way behind countries like Japan, Sweden and South Korea for example.

Now that that's out of the way, everyone knows the United States isn't trying to spread democracy, so they just need to cut the bullshit, but that won't happen, because it doesn't garner as much support from the average citizen if they find out what their country has really done abroad, so they have to rely on cable news propaganda to keep people in check, and it's working. A lot of people would not like me saying this, but the only difference between Russian propaganda and American propaganda, is that Russian propaganda is state-owned, but propaganda is propaganda at the end of the day. People will react emotionally and attack you for stating the obvious, but facts don't care about feelings.

To bring this back full circle, the US like any other superpower plays a game of chess, and they want to protect their interests in the region, even if it's unethical, and they have to lie about their mission so they can get support from the average American.

I'm pretty sure when a stealth bomber, cruise missile, or drone strike hits you it's you that gets owned. You even show Uncle Sam coming and taking your resources in your little commie comic book... That's your subconscious telling you that America owns you, even though that's not how globalist war hawks in America financially dominate a country. Americans have free speech so we can say whatever the fuck we want. You don't have to like it, but you generally have to respect the bigger kid with the baseball bat when you're a little shrimp.

No, I think people are always blinkered with short sighted views and we are always taught to often of all the glory of ones country rather some of the more menacing things it may have done and this then leads to a supieorty complex as people get older because they are not educated on the negatives but only on there proclaimed "positive" elements of their history.

They talk about "trade" despite being the worst offender on the WTO to deal with.

The talk about "diplomacy" despite causing more conflicts than any other empire since the British empire.

The United States is the greatest place in the world to be in my opinion they have the strongest core value of family values and they are armed to the teeth ready to defend their kin. Only problem is they are getting tempted buy African and Chinese dirty $. If they cut that relation they would end up increasing their wealth in the long run with short term work.

You’re missing a lot of details to prove your point or my a political statement. While I agree we can do better and don’t think we should lecture.
we are doing better than other countries Especially when you look at the variety of opinion in the US compared to other countries.
I also believe other countries have depended on US military to flex and we have had to follow through as a result. That has given us a bad name.
