Why do you think Hillary Clinton stayed married to President Bill Clinton after he cheated on her with Monica Lewinsky?

I always wondered why she didn't divorce him for that and the big scandal that went on for months. Do you think she set a precedence to show other women to stand by your man even if he cheats on you? Many famous people divorced their spouse for cheating on them, but she didn't. Do you think she should have divorced him? She must have been terribly hurt and embarrassed because it was all over the news, and he was even impeached for it. What you say?

That was a loveless marriage for political reasons. She wanted to be president, but is anti-charismatic. Even people who detest Bill Clinton tell me he lights up a room. He’s gregarious, he remembers everyone’s name, he’s slapping them on the back.

I think Obama made her Secretary of State rather than Vice President because he wanted to live more than six months into his presidency.

They may have had some genuine feelings for each other at one time, but it appears that it is merely a marriage of convenience and they have both benefitted in the political arena. Divorce wouldn't change the amount of embarrassment - if she is capable of that emotion.

It's ALL a show!! Mostly, because of HER political aspirations! She's only married to him to use him to climb her own political ladder! In reality, she can't stand him!! Some of Bill's security people have come forward and said how she would have TERRIBLE fights with him in the White House!! She probably was embarrassed that a serial rapist like Bill isn't even capable of keeping his dick in his pants while at work, but I strongly doubt she was hurt at all. By the looks of her, she doesn't even love or care about him (nor he loves/cares about her); they're more of a political union that are beneficial for each other in terms of power, money and influence. Divorcing him would just be a waste of time and money.

In the US spouses are not in contempt of court for refusing to testify against each other. With all the sketchy things both of them are involved in they need that protection.

In the US, rank in the Democrat party is often determined by victimhood status. Since she has no substantive ideas, record, or credibility to run on, she is left with appealing to something everyone will understand.

I'm sure she always knew he was a playboy. She probably knew that before she ever married him. For whatever reason she puts up with it - possibly because she's ambitious as hell and was more concerned about her ambitions than about his fidelity.
