Does anyone else think that being a billionaire CEO would suck?

Imagine thousands, if not, millions of employees and stockholders depending on you. Your life would be so restricted; your health would have to be constantly monitored, and you probably couldn't eat the food you love. I couldn't just travel to Southeast Asia and eat street food, for example. What if I catch a stomach virus and my company's stocks drop?

Oh yes. I have no intention of ever trying for wealth of that calibre. People look at the extremely rich and think it's all roses and rainbows and that they go anywhere and do whatever they want when they want, it's not the case at all. If you want that kind of money you have to sacrifice your time, completely. And the people who do get to those levels in career and income are those who are workaholics enough to put in grueling hours 24/7, they also often have very poor social skills, are the kind of people who are hard to get along with and disagreeable which they have to be as high profile chiefs in order to mentally survive managing such immense structures where everything is always on you, they have little to no meaningful relationships because they do not have the time, and depression even suicide is rife. Because it doesn't add up to much in the end when you build your life around money.

Balance is key. There's plenty of career options who generate very good money but also give plenty of free time.

Well first of all if you're a CEO you probably don't give a damn about your employees. They're just another resource. But yes, you have a responsibility to your shareholders. Honestly most company executives are interchangeable. It's only pressure if you're a routinely bad one. Why would you eat poor people street food if you're a highly paid exec? And yes your time would be infringed upon a lot but you'd be highly compensated for it if you're any good.

If I have all that I need then money will not add to my happiness unless I'm so rich I can afford to have humongous gardens in my yard. I also do not want too much if it subtracts from what other people have so I would not want to be a CEO unless I believed my work helped the others who were there.

There’s a reason why those CEOs hired tons and tons and tons of employees in the first place and it’s so they can avoid all the work. Those people are making money not doing a ton of work while your lowest paid worker in the company are probably doing the most work.

A you think any C level does 9-5 no their secretary bring them a normal sandwich everyone eat in their office, they fly around all the time, so busy. No CEO gets over time pay they get stock bonuses and they should, we can find another cleaning crew bet
