Don’t get me wrong birth-control has been a thing for thousands of years. However when it comes to pregnancy prevention the majority of the responsibility has been placed on to women. The problem that I have with this is that it makes a lot more sense to, for lack of a better term, take the bullets out of a gun as opposed to wearing a bulletproof vest and hoping for the best. So why is it that the overwhelming majority of responsibility for pregnancy prevention is placed on the women as opposed to men that get women pregnant in the first place?
I think a condom would be the best example of male birth control, but some men say they don’t want to use it as a birth control because it ruins the sensation. Frankly that’s a sad excuse for not trying to do his bit. If you don’t want to lose sensation, you can simply have fun some other way involving a lady friend that doesn’t lead to pregnancy.
To be honest, even if there were a pill for men to take that would limit pregnancy, some men might complain that even that ruins the sensation. Some women don’t want to take birth control as well, but if pregnancy is not the desired outcome at least one of the partners should be taking their form of birth control. On a little side note, my family is more on the conservative side and for conservatives there is something called natural family planning that involves measuring the temperature of the woman’s vagina daily to track the cycle of the egg and see when it is safe to have sex without needing birth control. Even in this method, the woman would be required to take most of the efforts, unless she would be comfortable with her guy sticking a thermometer in her vagina daily. 🤔 Side note over.

Well they do in a lot of different ways and the biggest birth control is the woman telling the man no sex without a condom bottom line it is their law now on the market I guess they're coming out with birth control for men I think it might even already be out but it's not even going to matter I try to tell this to girls on here but I answer questions it's your body it's your life it's your heart you need to be responsible for it because the guy's not going to do that it takes one of you to become smart and become the leader because the guy just wants what he wants and he doesn't give a flying fuck and that's wrong they should be held accountable for it but the girl has enough brains to say you cannot touch me without a condom that's the bottom line and follow through with those words I think when women start doing that and mean it and follow through there will be so many different types of changes and that's when they will take over the world LOL I've always said that they will and I have not been wrong yet it's just a matter of time

I know there’s testing going on for a male pill and also some kind of gel that is inserted into the vas deferens to block sperm. But right now, there’s vasectomy, which is only good if you don’t ever want children or you are done having children because reversal is risky and doesn’t always work. There’s also condoms, but I’ve heard that people complain they take away sensation (I never really noticed that or cared), and there’s also spermicide creams and gels like Nonoxynol 9, but I think that’s been linked to increased risk of vaginal lesions and cervical cancer in women.
Society oppresses women. That’s why, and not in the way you think it does.
For example, the trans rights movement is a movement against women. By brainwashing people into thinking men should play in women’s sports, women have had their rights to play sports taken away from them.
When abortion spreads across the world, it will be mostly young girls getting aborted because men carry the family name.
The Democratic Party is a scam. Not that the republicans are doing much better.

I thought that's what condoms were? But sure; women get pregnant; but "that's men's fault and responsibility" somehow. Women want autonomy for their bodies, but still want to blame men for the things they dislike about it, such as unplanned pregnancies. It's the "Man breathes, women most affected" meme, on real life. I'm surprised no woman has yet called it "Toxic Masculinity" that male medical scientists haven't invented a way to permanently get rid of periods yet. Cause you damn well know they would.
So you can either have bodily autonomy over yourself, or you can let men literally own you like they do in Saudi Arabia and shut up about it. But you don't get both. God, you seem to hate men more than Jessica Gao of Disney+ by saying some stuff like this.
Also kinda f*cked up, to refer to sperm in the same analogy as bullets. What kind of mother would think of her child or future children in the same way as murder weapons? And didn't you use this same pic before for your "baby and sex toys" post?
“So why is it that the overwhelming majority of responsibility for pregnancy prevention is placed on the women as opposed to men that get women pregnant in the first place?” Hahaha! Didn’t make the most of your educational opportunities, huh? Ell oh ell! It takes two, every single time.
Effective chemical compounds have already been developed. The major hurdle for chemical/hormonal birth control for men is the fact that they produce sperm constantly, and a lot of it. The “once daily” methods like pills don’t seem to have a strong enough effect for long enough to produce reliable results. I believe other delivery methods being researched include patches and the like. Supposedly these things will be available soon, but they’ve been saying that for years now.
In the end, no birth control method is more effective than abstinence. If y’all, boys and girls both, would quit whoring around like rutting animals, there’d be damn near 100% fewer unplanned, unwanted pregnancies. It’s REALLY easy to do, and it doesn’t cost a thing even if you don’t have insurance. You don’t have to consult a doctor, get anyone’s permission or sneak around to do it. Politicians can’t stop you in any way. It’s almost foolproof! Ell oh ell! Then again, i stopped underestimating fools years ago because they can be downright astounding sometimes.Because, for the moment, it can only be done on women. You say it is like "taking out the bullets of the gun", but then the gun itself is useless. And, unlike with a gun, you can't put the bullets back in whenever you want.
On the other hand, with women you only "mess up" with one of the phases of the process instead of the origin, which is the moment the Ovule tries to fix itself to the uterus. Since you don't mess with the ovaries (like what you suggest with males), she is still fertile, but the Ovule is just taken care of.Hmm... well, if I had to guess, I would say it's because women have so much greater a role to play in the creation of the child; you all ultimately have way more control over the child because you're the ones who spend the greatest amount of time with the child. Like of course it makes sense for men to wear condoms and generally make sure that their semen doesn't enter women's bodies, but at the end of the day, our role in the process is 5-10 minutes long, whereas your role is 9 months long. We effectively lose any say and power after that 10 minutes.
they have tried, and so far nothing works.
the big issue is that the male reproductive is a very simple system, therefore it is hard to derail it, while a women's reproductive system is very complicated, so it is much easier to disrupt it.
Other than a vasectomy or wrapping that rascal there isn't much else that can be done.
As far as who's fault it is when a woman gets pregnant, there are at least 2 parties involved in the process.
She can say no, or he can say no, or they can rely on at least one type of birth control.Even if there is a viable male birth control the problem here is that, would you as the woman and the one that can get pregnant trust a man that you have casual sex with or some random guy you hooked up with too be responsible, truthful and careful enough so you don't have too take any birth control yourself?
The answer should always be HELL NO! at the end of the day "your body your choice" also means YOU are the one that worries the most of your body so don't trust other's to worry for you. Please don't put so much trust in other people doing the right thing be they man or woman.I asked a similar question like this before. But it was more geared towards a one night stand and believing a man that would tell the truth about using male birth control.
Since a woman has to deal with birth control failures or lack of.
Would you trust an unfamiliar man that would swear that they are using male birth control! Providing that you were not using birth control?
Also I have read where the more time that passes after a vasectomy. The less chances of a successful reversal. Here's the biggest reason why: it's far easier and much more reliable to manage a single egg than it is to try to manage tens of millions of sperm (per ejaculation), given that a single survivor is all that is needed for a failure to occur.
Science has been trying to make male BC for decades, and it turns out that this is an incredibly difficult problem to solve. 99% "success" means certain failure. It comes down to trust. You can trust woman (well mostly) to take it as she would have to carry the kid and raise it. Men don’t. I wouldn’t trust a random man to have taken birth control.
But men do have more than one option available at their own control.
The man does not get pregnant, so the man should not have any responsibility, in addition, contraception should be discarded, because the birth rate is low, so more unwanted pregnancies are needed, that's why it was made illegal abortion in 14 states.
I don't think it is dobe on purpose. Besides condoms and vasectomy, it is extremely tricky to cone up with any form if birth control for men without causing permanent harm. No one wants that. Not even women would want that. If you make all men sterile, you gave ultimately killed all human race which is what focusing on men at the moment, looks like.
There is a male birth control pill in development right now that appears to be safe. It’s a little tougher to accomplish because you’re talking about suppressing millions of sperm on a daily basis rather than an egg once a month. It will be a welcome development because guys kind of get the short straw on birth control options. I can’t wait for the day I can start asking guys if they’re on the pill.
This question won't fire anyone up at all lol...
But yeah, there is male birth control, but that would mean that men should take responsibility for their actions also...
Lol if you're an actual mother as you say then you know a women can only get prego once in the 9 months she's prego for as for men we can get multiple women prego at the same time and more we produce tons of sperm buttttt their was an invention called you know the "condom" that prevents as you oddly say "bullets" from getting women prego with a high prevention rate like BC.
So I'm not sure if you know what Era were in but they're male contraceptives lol
I heard they tried to make birth control pills for men. But oh no, they had side effects!! Sexist BS
Its in the works. Ill be happy when its finally released. The hormone imbalance from women's birth control is horrific. Mood swings and severe adult acne were my side effects. I cleared up right after I stopped taking it.
There's always the "swift kick in the balls" option... 😜
There are probably other reasons, but the reason that is obvious to me is, men would not make sure to take it the way they were supposed to. I mean some would but not enough that you could count on it.

because it has been easier to control a cycle that lasts a month
than a daily production of hormonal cocktails that can get out of control way easier as well Because a procedure for women was developed first, and few people nowadays want to risk their fertility testing new drugs when a stable option fot women is already available.
I'm sure you expect some answer like "because men are sexist and want to control women" but if it really is as simple as you are seemingly implying, then why are men deligating the control to women when they could just simply have the control, themselves? It just doesn't make any sense.
