We have been getting a lot of new people from California and I’m worried they’ll bring their politics with them. I don’t understand why they would move to a conservative state. Why not go to Seattle? Texas is such a great state to live in. Please don’t ruin it.
They raise the cost of living by proposing for higher wages thus creating more inflation and as a result, more homelessness and everything gets more expensive. You can’t even reason with them. Their minds are set in stone!

Well in Florida it's mainly been Republicans and Independents that have been moving in during the mass migration. Why do you assume they are Democrats just because they are from out of state? You realize all blue states are roughly half Republican, but the election rigging is just more widespread in places like California. The corruption is entrenched in their cities. That's why people leave, they want to be free in other states that have more integrity. To top that off I don't know even one Democrat in Florida, that is voting Democrat in the midterm elections. All of them are like these fucking Communists aren't the Democrat party I'm part of... Time after time they keep saying, I'm thinking of switching to independent. They're like alcoholics that are like I'll quit next week... They know being a Democrat is wrong, but it's convenient to stay one even though they feel bad about it. They think they can turn it around on their next big go...
They should be shunned. They should be told, we don't you weirdo communists in our state. So people know who they are, their names and address should be placed on a list that anyone can look up, similar to the sexual abuse list. If they are harassed like people on the sexual abuse list often are, maybe they will leave.
From what I could see when I lived there, most "Californians" who move to other states aren't Californians. Most of those people moved to California from another state, then turned around and left after a few years. They commonly moved back to where they came from. So a lot of those Californians who move to Texas probably came from Texas in the first place. And most of the rest probably originally came from another state besides California.
People see cars with California plates and assume they are Californians, which isn't really the case.
Well when Cruz beat Beto polling showed that Beto actually won among native Texans, and it was only those fleeing leftist Utopias like Commiefornia who put Ted over the top.
The problem with people who understandably flee California Minnesota Illinois or New York is that they fowl the nest that birth them and then they vote the same way when they land somewhere different. Because they’re just so brainwashed that they’re going to keep voting the way they vote, without making the connection between their poor life choices and their poor life outcomes.
That’s the point. If they flip Texas or NC Democracy (Mob rule) will be established. There will never be a Conservative President again. The left are fighting both and Google and Apple are breaking ground in NC. Amazon is already there….

You forget about one thing. Left wingers who move to Texas move to big cities like Austin or Dallas, that are very left wing, and they form blue islands in the red state. So left-wingers would still feel comfortable in that environment.
Californians have every right to be or move to Texas or whatever state they desire as Texas is part of the United States and Californias are American citizens.
Xenophobia is a term used only in reference to foreigners who aren't of origin to a specific country.

Being in TX and owning a business I can tell you the actual issue.
TX: cut taxes, no state income, give breaks to big business... at the expense of the poor. CA: try to help the poor more, better healthcare, etc... angers big business.
Benefitting from the the good business culture here in Tx, I can see a middle ground. But TX has THE lowest percentage of insured people and unhealthy.
That will never happen. People who move from California to Texas are trying to escape the high taxes, high property taxes, very high cost of living in California.
Exactly this! People hear "California" and think we're all Leftist Lunatics. Yes, Leftists are a huge majority, but Trump got over 6 million votes in Commiefornia in 2020. The people fleeing here are by-and-large not the freeloading societal leeches, but the productive who are sick of the high-tax clown show. They are, in fact, the reason Ted Cruz was re-elected in 2018. With only native Texans voting, Beto the gun-grabbing Beta would have won the Senate seat 51%-48%, but non-native Texans broke heavily for Cruz, giving him the victory.
Unfortunately, that is usually what happens. Just like city folk moving to the country. Then they want curbing, sewer, and street lights. Just to name a few!
