I am worried about Texas turning into California after getting more people from there. Is that xenophobic or do I have a point?

We have been getting a lot of new people from California and I’m worried they’ll bring their politics with them. I don’t understand why they would move to a conservative state. Why not go to Seattle? Texas is such a great state to live in. Please don’t ruin it.

They raise the cost of living by proposing for higher wages thus creating more inflation and as a result, more homelessness and everything gets more expensive. You can’t even reason with them. Their minds are set in stone!

Well in Florida it's mainly been Republicans and Independents that have been moving in during the mass migration. Why do you assume they are Democrats just because they are from out of state? You realize all blue states are roughly half Republican, but the election rigging is just more widespread in places like California. The corruption is entrenched in their cities. That's why people leave, they want to be free in other states that have more integrity. To top that off I don't know even one Democrat in Florida, that is voting Democrat in the midterm elections. Someone at my work sold their tiny house in CA for 1.5 million then bought a giant house here with it.

From what I could see when I lived there, most "Californians" who move to other states aren't Californians. Most of those people moved to California from another state, then turned around and left after a few years. They commonly moved back to where they came from. So a lot of those Californians who move to Texas probably came from Texas in the first place. And most of the rest probably originally came from another state besides California.

People see cars with California plates and assume they are Californians, which isn't really the case.

Being in TX and owning a business I can tell you the actual issue.

TX: cut taxes, no state income, give breaks to big business... at the expense of the poor.
CA: try to help the poor more, better healthcare, etc... angers big business.
